The outer shell is made of high-density material and the zipper is heavy-duty and has not shown any signs of wear or tear.
The Yetti Hopper Flip 12 also has a leakproof design, which I appreciate. I have had many experiences with coolers leaking and making a mess, but this one has not leaked at all.
