    I got this for my little cousin who is always on the boat going to different islands during the summer with my family. He has a magnet that finds things at the bottom of the ocean and he is always thrilled so I am sure he will have plenty to do with this metal detector! I love that it is kid friendly! I can’t wait to see what he finds! Hopefully some gold lol

    Great tool to keep kids busy away from screens. It's a real metal detector. Kids have been finding all sort of metal bits (including old toy cars!) buried in our yard. They keep going back for it, so it was a great buy.

    I lost my phone off our kayak when Lake Piru was full of water. Went back 7 months later, when the water level receded, with my sons Nat Geo Metal Detector to see if we could find it. WE DID! Buried under about 8” of dirt/sediment (for the curious, yes, phone still works)! It’s super easy to use, takes a minute to put together and was pretty accurate. Found every old beer can in the dry lake before finally finding the phone. Worth every penny.

    He was 10 when he got it and it was just perfect for him. He found a few little things but the hope of finding something gets him outside and I love that!

    In our home we love exploring, whether at home outside or at the beach etc. Our son loves adventure and he has been interested in using a metal detector for awhile, based on other positive reviews we choose to go with this manufacturer and design. It’s honestly perfect! It’s built well, it’s long enough for a tall child, it isn’t very heavy so his arms won’t get tired and you can replace the batteries easily! The description of the product is extremely accurate when it comes to showing the design and flexibility of this tool. Our 10 year old will have so much fun for hours on end. Definitely worth the money.

    First of all be aware there is no 9V battery block included so we had to run to store to get one since this not a common battery we have at home. After trying it out at home and some fine tuning it detected the coins. Light weight for kids with some educational explanation how it works. Just don’t expect a professional device.

    We went to the local park and my son had a blast finding treasures! It was super acc, my 8 yo son loved it and had a blast. The detector found anything from pop tabs and coins to a large piece of metal. It was lightweight and easy for my son to use. This makes a perfect gift for any exploring loving child!
