I got this for my hubby and he uses it every day. Easy to use and works great! Not too heavy and great battery life.

5.0 out of 5 stars I am a gas convert for this!
Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2023
I love the internal combustion engine. Two strokes sound and smell awesome, and I probably swore I’d never convert to the pathetic electric stuff. Well, tar and feather me because I’m a convert for this blower. Finally had a belly full of cleaning the carbs and replacing fuel lines on my two Husqvarna gas blowers, and when I borrowed my Dad’s EGO 650 cfm blower I was very surprised how powerful and light it was. That got me checking them out for myself and, being a healthy male, of course I had to buy the biggest baddest strongest one I could find.

Pros:
This blows way harder than any gas blower I’ve ever owned.
This is lighter than most gas blowers, definitely lighter than the ones I own.
This is quieter than gas, and obviously is silent the moment you let off the trigger instead of continuing to idle.
No more mixing fuel, spilling fuel, cleaning up fuel, cleaning carbs, replacing fuel filters and air filters and hoses.

Cons:
Cost. The blower itself isn’t cheap, but the batteries…OUCH!

Weight - With battery it’s not light, and my 81 year old father can’t carry it for long without the shoulder strap. He loves yard work (no, you can’t borrow him!) so the strap is a necessity for him. I’m a very active 50 and no issue using it till the battery dies.

Run time - The 2.5Ah battery gives less than 15 minutes if you’re running at full speed, much less if you use the turbo button a lot. However, if you chill out and run at the speed that moves your leaves & sticks without overdoing it, it lasts about 30 minutes. Dad has the 5.0Ah battery which he says lasts nearly 45 minutes on his 650. I do plan to buy one of those because I want more run time.

Overall: Completely happy. I’d have been annoyed at the run time if I hadn’t read these reviews first, but knowing that it wasn’t a shock. I’d have to say get the bigger batteries though.

I primarily use it to blow grass clippings off my long driveway. Our lawn has very thick heavy grass and the driveway used to be a mess after I cut it. This Ego blower is powerful and with the optional shoulder strap easy to manage. The battery seems to last a good while after a charge. It appears to be very well made.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great leaf blower

This is a great leaf blower. I like EGO products and purchased this leaf blower for the benefit of using the common EGO batteries. It has a good amount of power and the battery will last about an hour on continuous highest speed. The flat nozzel attachment works epsecially well for moving leaves and debris from my rock scapes. It can be bit heavy during extended use, so the included shoulder band is really good to have.

Easy to use. Not as loud or odiferous as a gas blower. Also, light weight and easy to grab after washing my car to blow off excess water.

4.0 out of 5 stars Powerful!

The765 CFM is a beast! I've never used a blower that even came close in terms of power. Cleaning off my deck I had to be careful not to blow the furniture over! It's also great for cleaning the top and bottom of a lawnmower, and for getting at the leaves, sticks and seeds that fall into that annoying little crevice modern cars all seem to have just below the windshield wipers.

I've got several other EGO tools, and the main battery I use for all except the lawn mower is 6 years old and still going strong. The blower is light, well-made, and easy to use. Only one minor gripe - unlike all other tools that seem to have multiple safety features to prevent turning them on accidentally, it's actually kind of awkward trying to pick up the blower without hitting the "on" trigger. Not a big deal, but still - be careful.

I haven't been disappointed by any EGO product yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars It Blows

I bought this to replace a gas powered blower that died. This is my third Ego yard tool. Started with a lawn mower, next was a line trimmer. They both work better than expected so I thought I'd give this blower a shot. I already had batteries from the other tools so I opted for the 'no battery included' version. So here are my thoughts. Blower power is not a problem. It works as well or better than the gas powered unit it was replacing. It comes with a shoulder strap and you'll probably need it. It uses the standard Ego batteries. All good so far right? So here are the negatives. It's heavy after installing a battery so use the shoulder strap. It also eats power. I use my mower battery when I use the blower. I cut my lawn with a riding mower but I need to do trim work and some steep banks with the Ego mower. The trim work takes about 30 minutes and the battery goes from 5 bars to 3. Put that same battery in the blower and it goes from 5 bars to dead in about the same time. So my routine is now to use the line trimmer battery to power the mower, same battery has enough charge to do the line trimming after mowing. And I use the mower battery to use the blower. Overall I'm very happy with the blower but be sure to match it up with a battery with enough juice to get the job done
