These are great and can be cleaned with a hose. I figure a lot of the performance depends on the system you’re using. I have not have issues with filters collapsing but I am only using the 1000GPH system.
It does collect the gross stuff and I wash it out with a hose probably twice a week.
With the use of algae guard, I was able to take my pool from green to clean. The filter was covered in the most disgusting sludge I’d ever seen. So. Yeah. I mean… it works…
