Bought WYBOT Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner for my 14'x4' aboveground pool. Easy to put together. I checked to make sure it was charged. My pool usually has sand and small sediment from a tree. I have had it about two weeks and use it every evening after grands get out of the pool. Except for catching on the pool ladder, it does a fantastic job. very easy to clean. takes about 4 hours to charge. My only advice is to never leave it charging unattended. I read where another brand caught fire while charging.

This WYBOT Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner (in bright green) is about as basic as it comes. It works well, especially on smaller flat-bottomed above-ground swimming pools and larger spas. I tested it in an 18-foot round above-ground pool with small leaves and other debris like bugs, sycamore tree seeds, and fine dirt, where it performed well. It has surprisingly good suction. It runs in an absolutely random pattern until the battery charge is low, and then it parks at the side where it waits for retrieval. About one hour after it was finished cleaning, I noticed some fine dirt had settled back on the bottom. Not much, though, I’d say about 10%, which is typical for almost all robotic cleaners I’ve tested.

Using it is easy. After the battery is fully charged, which can take up to four hours, all you need to do is turn it on, put it in the water near the side of the pool wall, and let it sink. When it’s done, use the included hook attached to your pole to retrieve it. It ran for about 45 minutes when I tested it.
As soon as you retrieve it, open it up and clean the filter and the robot with a garden hose. Then, return it to the charger to be ready the next time you want to use it. It’s best not to leave it in the pool too long after it has finished.

Conclusion: This robotic pool vacuum is an excellent option for those on a tight budget. While it did not exceed my expectations, it met them, earning it a four-star review. If taken care of, this robotic pool vacuum should last for years, and if you’re using it in a portable above-ground pool, it should outlast the pool.

The handle broke on the way to the pool for its first use. Probably a plastic defect. My wife reached out to customer service for a new handle and they never responded.

I purchased a robot spring 2023, model WY1102, that isn't listed anymore but this item appears to be the same but just different colors.

I love this little guy! I haven't had to hook the vacuum up through the skimmer even once since purchased.

My pool is crystal clear and maintenance is so much easier with this boy I have traditional 16' round above ground pool with a Hayward 1.5 hp pump and sand filter.

I switched to filter balls instead of sand two years ago (this is 3rd season). Making that change and getting this simple, budget-friendly little robot cleaner has made my life so much easier.
