I have a 5 ghz router, so to program the camera I had to call my internet and phone provider (Spectrum). They changed my phone temporarily to 2.4 ghz to allow me to program the camera to my wi-fi system. It works flawlessly.
They want you to buy a subscription for more features when you download the app. I just want to watch the neighborhood birds so I wasn’t interested. The basic app has a lot of features to control the camera and sends you a text when there’s activity. I know it works well with fountain grass, now that I moved it I’ll soon know how it works when the birds come around.
Amazon had a $50 off coupon so this was well worth the money for what you get.
