So, last year my metal feeder rusted and the hummingbirds stopped coming to my feeder, I assume because of the rust. Earlier this year I tried a plastic feeder that just stores the nectar in the base and the hummingbirds didn't come, I assumed that they couldn't reach the nectar unless it was full. This one they seem to really like! It is a bit smaller than I expected, but it's just the right size for me right now. I use one cup water and 1/4 sugar, and it fills the feeder up about halfway. I don't go through all the nectar before I clean and replace it, so it's working out great. I love the ant moat to keep the ants out, so far it seems to be working. I've only been using it for a week, but I am very happy with it, expecially if the metal base does not end up rusting. The glass is very pretty and I love the way it looks hanging off of the tree.

This hummingbird feeder is exactly what I wanted. I was looking for solid red glass, and something not so heavy and large. I only need to add about 6 ounces of fluid every few days since It's so hot where I live, and the nectar needs frequent changing. The feeder is really beautiful, and it fits well within my landscape since I've added plants to give the backyard an old southern charm mixed with a touch of tropical foliage. Hummingbirds began frequenting the feeder the day after it was hung on a hook next to the back porch door. I've only had it one week, and so far, no leakage. Time will tell how it holds up, but for the price, I am extremely pleased with the quality. I'm considering purchasing another feeder, but that'll make four feeders in the yard, and the backyard hummingbird battles have really heated up!

These are great feeders. No leaks, sit flat for filling, are sturdy enough to withstand our heavy winds, and the hummers are easily able to feed. Definitely worth the very fair price. Note, these are small - each holds about 1 1/2 cups of sugar solution - but work well for us. We don’t have a large number of birds, only about 6 - 8 regulars, and just refill them every three or four days. They are easy to clean, and so far are handling our 100+ degree weather with no problem. Highly recommend.

It's rather small which is fine because I only have half a dozen that come by & they don't drink much. It is easy to clean & assemble.

Over-all I really like this feeder compared to others I have had.

It doesn't seem to get dirty as quickly as some plastic ones I've used in the past. It also doesn't spill like other feeders I've had, which is important when set up over a wooden deck.

The only downside was that the ant trap was not water tight. I put some JB weld around the hole and now it is. It would be better of the ant trap were both larger and actually water-tight.

I almost never write a review. But, I read most of them before I purchase an item. So ,I feel I better do my part???? this hummingbird feeder is one of the best ones I’ve bought in the 10 years that I’ve been feeding these little guys., and I’ve bought several. I have four out right now ,every year I put out at least 3! It’s easy to clean ,all the flowers are big. ,The material quality is excellent, and the hummers seem to be attracted to this one more than any of the other I have . I hope this helps. It’s definitely worth it. I’m sure I will be purchasing more❤️

This hummer feeder is nice. It doesnt let the small bugs/bees get into the water thru the feeder openings and contaminate it. I like that the base is made of ALL metal bc i have chipmunks that chewed my last plastic feeder apart. I also like that it has a screw in water jar bc the chipmunks also learned how to lift the top off of my last feeder and would help themselves to all of the sugar water! The little moat is also a nice plus to keep the ants from crawling down into the feeder. So far, so good!

This hummingbird feeder replaces another semi-metal feeder we had, but there was a outer plastic lip, and the "flowers" used plastic inserts to hold them in the metal top plate.
The squirrels made mince-meat of the other hummingbird feeder, and hung out all day feeding their sugar addiction.
But THIS hummingbird feed has a full metal wrap-around base-top, and most importantly, the flowers are riveted to it. The squirrels are thwarted! The can't chew through the base, and they can't pop the flowers off to get direct access to the sugar water. They finally gave up and leave the hummingbird feeder alone! But the hummingbirds still like it and some back all the time.
Not many are built like this one - which is what makes is so special!!!!
