5.0 out of 5 stars So far it's doing great!

Have used it a few times now. It did get stuck the first time, I used the wheel setting recommended for round pools, which was A-C I believe. My above ground 12' round has a couple of wrinkles in the liner where it got caught up though. So that's on me. I adjusted the wheels to an A-B setting and it actually helped and doesn't get stuck anymore. We'll see how long the battery lasts though as far as overall life cycle. It does hold charge while cleaning really well, and charges relatively quickly. Next year I'm upgrading to a 12x24 rectangular pool so this wybot is going to help tremendously cleaning a larger floor! Would recommend!!

I got the Wybot A1 to help clean my pool and found it to be very helpful. This pool vac comes ready to go, I think I only installed the flap and set it up to clean my pool. It is very fast, picks up leaves well and I like that I can choose what length of time to set up for cleaning the pool. Cleaning it up is equally simple, take it apart with 2 hooks and spray the filters down. Very happy with the Wybot A1.

5.0 out of 5 stars First time in water worked like a charm

Pretty easy to read instructions, although unclipping the bottom wasn't as intuitive at first, then - Doh!
Anyway,, there is a lot more storage space in bottom of unit than I would have thought or is explained in description. It looks to hold about as much as our Polaris 280 pressure side sweep.
I like that it has a couple of filters too as the Polaris just spits lots of real fine stuff back into the pool..There was lot in the bottom on first run.
Did pool in 2 hour program - although pool wasn't real dirty, so I can't vouch for coverage, but it was moving along.
The directions say to charge every 3 months?? I will be amazed if it lasts that long used daily, but I'm not going to charge until it runs out.
On that note, I'm not a fan of the plugin recharge as I am worried about seal covering outlet - I mean it may be completely sealed from internals (which it looks to be), but just a way for water intrusion.
At first I was dismayed by not having a dock like my friends, but if this battery lasts that long, then wow!
At times I do get lot's of leaves (soon to come) and that will be the real test along with pine needles.
So far so good and I'll update after more testing, but it's a winner so far.

Also, my booster pump is 1.5hp and running it 4 hours a day takes 4.5Kwh, at $.11/Kwh that's about $.50 per day - $15 a month. This is only for electric charge and not others, so more like $30/mo.
So at $150 5 month ROI isn't bad at all - and the bonus of not having hose all over the pool.

Update: We do have a moderate sized pool - about 33x13 ft and 5 ft deep center and 3ft deep ends. Curved too. Considering my pressure side sweeper ran 4 hours a day, this does a good job for 2 hour run times. It again does pick up a lot of smaller particulate the big one does not. But, to do a complete sweep, I think I would have to run 2x a day. This is made for smaller pools, but is working here, so still a win.

Next Update: So it seemed to keep getting stuck at one end of the pool or another. I changed the wheel configuration from A-C to A-B (you just have to pull the little hold clip away from top of wheel and it will drop out) and now it's going all over the place. And it is picking up more stuff too. I have been running 2x a day also.
It's also important to clean after each use as there is so much fine stuff this picks up, it can clog the small screened outlets at the rear of the unit. I don't know if this would affect performance or not, but just is.

Final update- the wheel change did the trick. Now with one 2 hour run 95% of the pool was cleaned. Only missed a little on the longer ends near the wall (a quick brush fixes this. Great!

Not sure where the positive reviews are from. This thing didn’t work at all. I dropped it in the pool and it drove about 3 feet and then stopped. Got in the pool and nudged it. It would drive three more feet and then stop again. Left it for 2 hours until the thing died. Recharged and tried it again with the same result. Your better off throwing your money into the pool rather than this junk. Returned it.

Wybot A1 robotic, rechargeable pool cleaner dose an admirable job at cleaning my in ground pool with a with a mid pool slope. Out of the box it needs only to have its' plastic fin to be attached. That is the only assembly. It charges from full drain to full charge in about 2 and a half hours. Take the two silica packs out of the inner chamber before use.

It has two filters for more effective retention of debris that it collects. One filter is a screen mesh (typical with these cleaners, PLUS a sponge filter! Great idea with the double filtration! The front and rear wheels can be adjusted to help facilitate wanted movement of the robot cleaner based on the shape of the users pool. The two bigger side wheels are stationary. The top of the cleaner has a power/operation button and a charging port which has a rubber stopper cover to use when in the pool to help protect the metal terminals from corrosion. The tops light read outs indicate charge time left or charge run time selected.

Upon first use I was surprised at the speed of the cleaner as it was much quicker and agile than expected. It went up the slop of my pool without issue an covered a lot of swipes in the two hours it ran. Another pleasant surprise was the amount of debris it picked up on its maiden voyage. There was much more debris than I even knew that was at the bottom of my pool! It picked up grass clippings, small leaf pieces, insects, and small/granular runoff rocks.

Overall, I am pleased with the quality build in comparison to the cost of this robot. The motor is strong, the interface is easy, and the build is on par or better than its competitors. It i has been effective with picking up debris and all that debris is collected by Wybot A1 and cleaned out by me outside of the pool, thus increasing the life of my pool filters!

Very nice pool robot cleaner. It does a pretty good job at cleaning my pool. It picks up lots of debris even the ones I couldn't see. It was surprised how much dirt it picked up. Its really simple and easy to use. Just fully charge it, turn it on and set it into the pool. It will automatically start cleaning once it sinks to the bottom. No programming needed.
