These went on easily but the carriage bolts square parts were too small for my Areins 20in machine. Like that there are spare wheels. No snow this year but it rolls around the garage nicely:)
Can’t vouch for durability. The fact that they come with spare wheels leads me to believe maybe they wear out quickly. I’ll give the benefit of doubt and keep my fingers crossed.

This is a no-brainer add on. They should have come on the blower from the factory. So much easier to maneuver. Easy bolt on. Includes an extra set of wheels. I don't have many miles on them yet, but they seem well made and should last.

Is rolling skids were easy to install on my Ariens 921 series snowblower. Can’t wait for the first snow. But it certainly makes the snowblower easier to roll on the driveway or in the garage.
The bolts that come with the skids have a square base under the head (see photo). This is designed to fit into the square cut out of the auger housing. Unfortunately, the bold has a rounded head so there’s no way to hold it with a wrench. If that square cut out rusts out and doesn’t hold the bolt, it could be a problem to undo the nut. My square cutouts showed some signs of rust. So I used the bolts from my old skid that have a hex head that I can put a wrench on. And I put a washer under the head of the bolt. It worked fine. I expect no problems. And if my cutouts rust any further, I can always simply hold the head of the bolt with a wrench to undo it.

I got these for my older craftsman tracked snowblower to replace the original steel sliders. I like these because of the wheels. Time will tell, but with the wheels these should be way more durable than any plastic or metal “sliders” . They also come with a second set of wheels.

not sure they will work in freezing conditions but as long as you go straight with wheels down my be OK. I wouldn't turn side to side with wheels down s they would wear out. But we'll see how these hold up next winter if we get snow

Got these to replace the skids on my Ariens snow thrower. I purchased this set because it included a spare set of wheels that came with the kit. Today I was preparing my blower for the upcoming snow storm and decided to use the spare wheels first since the old ones developed flat spots. These wheels fit perfect. Snow blower rolls nicely with little effort. Now I still have a new pair of skids with new wheels as replacements for next winter. Price was also very reasonable. I recommend them.

I have an old and very uneven driveway so I decided to replace the skid plates on my snow blower with these that have wheels in hopes that it will be easier to maneuver. Apparently ordering this means it won’t snow, so I haven’t had a chance to test these yet in the snow, but they went on fine and work well without snow. Will update the review if I run into trouble with these this winter, but so far I’m pleased with the fit and quality.
