    This has been an easy to use metal detector. It comes with everything you would need. This is a good unit for beginners and new users to the metal detector hobby.

The value for the money was all some and it came with the small stud finder. And I love the fact that it is waterproof

    his is Amazons #1 pick for a non-name-brand MD. It’s fine for beginners. If your only doing dry land like parks and dry sand, it will work. If you go to the damp sand part of the beach, it will beep Intermittently. Also, will not pick up small pieces of gold. Maybe it might pick up a ring, but nothing smaller, like gold chips, etc. The only function that disappoints is the Pin point function, that’s also intermittent. Best to buy a separate pin pointer. I returned this, only because I live next to beaches, and I will be in the damp sand a lot. If your looking for an affordable beginner name-brand detector, and willing to spend an extra $70, you can get the minelab vanquish 340 for under $200. The only down sides, is that you have to buy all your accessories separately and you cannot put the coil in water. But if your main concern is an accurate MD that will work on damp sand as well as dry, (parks, lawns, etc) and finds even small pieces of gold, this is an amazing machine. It’s the lowest cheapest model minelab makes, and beats pretty much any non name brand one. The PANCKY is probably a top 3 Amazon non brand detector. My first time in my back yard, I found 2 beer bottle caps, but had to return it after realizing it’s not good for beach.

    Pancky MD - Works OK.

    Like others have reported, this is an OK metal detector. It does alert you to metal objects. Would be good for a kid or beginner not looking to spend alot on a MD. Issues I had was when we used it over known objects, like 99% pure silver and 18K gold. Adjusted the settings and played with the distance, also used boxes and stacked card board to simulate a hidden or buried object. It seemed to work for aluminum, steel, and like metals but had difficulty picking up precious metals.

    My husband and I decided to take up a new hobby and start searching the beaches in our area for treasures..
    I really like that this metal detector utilizes an LCD panel that actually gives you an estimate about what is it is detecting before you take the time and effort to dig into the ground. The LCD panel is also useful in many ways, tells you how your battery life is looking. I especially love that feature as there’s nothing worse than wanting to use a device only to find it is dead.
    Setting the detector up was very easy. allthough upon opening the box I was a bit put off at first (so many pieces) but I was able to have it done in under 15 minutes.
    You really just have to connect a small handful of parts, insert 2 9V batteries, and you’re good to go. The package even contains a small foldable shovel for digging up your loot. A nice touch.

    I really like that it has different modes, and detects between different types of medals, so you can focus on your favorite.
    I now know that I have a powerful tool to use if myself or a loved one ever loses a valuable piece of jewelry.
    Really I’m happy with this purchase! Totally worth the price! It’s a Durable machine, and designed to last, also very comfortable to use.. lightweight and easy to maneuver
