    I had a choice of throwing the blower away or putting a new carburetor on it and for $26 it was five better to install a carburetor which will give me years more use of this than to go out and spend $800-$1000 to replace it

    Our machine woudl only run with the choke 3/4 on and the governor barely functional. I swapped this carb on (a bit of pain to access) and it fired right up running 90% better. There is still a bit of surging which is likely a tuning issue. I am pleased enough at the moment not to worry about it. I installed the new plug as well, which was nice to have as I am sure the old one was somewhat fouled from running on a por mix for at least I couple seasons. I should have replaced the barb sooner.

    Only 1 of the three included gaskets matched the old ones, but the old ones were still in good condition. The non-matching may have worked with their different outline but I didn't bother to try them out. The included fuel hose did not match anything on my machine, but I didn't need it. All in all this fixed our issues. Physically it matched perfectly, the "accessories" seem more like a universal selection. Still a good value and I would buy another one if needed (probably will in a few years). Our motor doesn't have air or fuel filters on it (or a place to put them) so carb issues are a regular occurrence.

    This was a perfect replacement for the carburetor on my Troy-Bilt snow thrower. At this price it's easier to replace than to rebuild a carburetor. Be careful, though. There are lots of just slightly different engines and carburetors. Make sure you get one that matches the engine you have.

    Used as a snowblower replacement. Carb was perfect. Original leaked at bowl over summer. Destroying carburator. This unit was EXACT match. Came with a bunch of stuff extra incuding a key. After hookup it started by hand in 2 pulls. After I ran it thru a entire tank of gas, I let it sit for a couple days. When I needed it again all it took was 1 pull to start. It runs better than it did new! HIGHLY recommended!!!
