Super easy to assemble. I will admit I have had MANY others so that might have contributed to the ease I had. I also have strong arm strength (horrible leg weakness). SO I did not have trouble fully extending the 9 ft and placing it in the base ( already had one) and tightening up the base screw to secure it properly.
Love the color. Seems to be a sturdy fabric. Hopefully will hold up. I don't care if the sun bleaches the color. I probably over time will. I am pleased with my purchase.
