I have used it once so far. I dropped it in the pool and retrieved a few hours later. There was plenty of debris in it. The problem is my pool isn't clear yet which made it difficult to find it. It did go to the wall like the directions said it would. Hubby was a hero and went into the cold, dirty water and retrieved it. I was unable to use the hook to pull it out as I could not see it. I have not used it again as my pool is still cloudy. Will try it again as soon as possible ????
Updating àfter 2nd use. I am really thrilled with this product. I turned it on and dropped it in the pool and watched it as it went right to work. My pool is clearer now. I can see the vacuum on the bottom. It did a diagonal. I peaked at it a few times while it worked. It was always moving along the bottom. 90 minutes later I retrieved it. The basket had plenty of debris even some sand. It's so much easier than my manual vacuum or my hose robot critter vacuum. I like that the debris doesn't go into my filter and I don't have to waste water.
