    Shaft snapped out of the shovel base first time using it. Very cheap do not recommend.

    The shovel comes in a small box in pieces. The handle fit together and stayed together, but there is enough play in the connections that it doesn't feel very sturdy when you use it (the handle rotates a bit from the loose connections), and the shovel blade is not very large or effective at pushing snow across the driveway. It was purchased as a second shovel ahead of a recent heavy snow for my fiancée to use, and it was good enough for her to clear the sidewalk, but in the meantime I cleared nearly the entire driveway with a real shovel.

    It was one of the few options that was available to be delivered in time, so a point that it did arrive ahead of the snow, but I would not buy again. I doubt I would have been able to clear the driveway with this shovel (2" sleet + 4" snow).

    There's bad and good...

    It looks and feels cheap, the scoop is not very deep, and the blade isn't any good at all against ice...

    Looking at it as I assembled it the 1st time, I had no faith in this shovel...

    BUT it was sufficient to dig my car out of a foot of snow twice this week, and it breaks down fairly easily to fit back in the box to stick in the back of a closet.

    So, four stars. Kudos!

    Lightweight and flimsy build. Not good for ice. The edge is like plastic. Fine if all you need to do is move dry, fluffy snow. If it’s wet or icy, you could do better.
