    I have a few DeWalt 20V tools and batteries, so I thought this might be a useful addition to the collection. It’s not sturdily built like an Ariens snowblower and would probably bog down in anything deeper than a few inches. But l put it together this evening after a day of moderate snow, and it performed well right out of the box. I was surprised to watch the snow fly about 10 feet. It handled 3” of the white stuff without complaint. My only gripe is that the leading edge kept getting stuck on uneven concrete as I pushed it forward. I’ll have to remember to lower the angle of attack next time. Overall, it will be a nice alternative to shoveling when the snowfall is light.

    The snowshovel arrives in a surprisingly small box, meaning there is some assembly involved, but the assembly is extremely easy. The long pole comes in three pieces, one with the snowshovel, one with the handle (and battery holder), and a middle piece for length. Insert one piece into the next and turn the locking rings, put on the handle and -- done. OK, charge up the battery and slide it on. It spins readily. Note that there are some references to a "charger" in the kit, including mention of a "fast charger" in the product details. Nope - the battery I got has a barrel connector that you plug into a wall wart. Technically, it is a charger but it is not particularly fast nor is it a Milwaukee-slide-in charger as people might expect. I mention this because the battery is relatively small at 4-Ah given the challenge of throwing snow. You will go through multiple charges on a single battery to clear any meaningful amount of snow. clearly, I would rather go through several charged batteries, so I have to come up with additional batteries __and__ a charger. I can do that, it is not a fault of the product, but do plan ahead. Operationally, the snow shovel is perfect for fluffy snow and it has yet to prove itself on the heavy wet stuff, even at the smaller amounts that we tend to get around here.

    I just need some SNOW! This looks like a very well made implement, although not one I would tackle a parking lot with, but it was never intended for heavier use than the snow on your sidewalk or deck and maybe a driveway.

    It goes together easily, doesn't weigh too much, and doesn't require gasoline and oil or a gasoline and oil mix. I have too many pieces of equipment that need those things already.

    It works quite well with no snow and depending on what kind of snow we receive, I anticipate it will save me a lot of work. Okay, maybe not a lot of work but some work. The older I get the more I am of the mind to let nature take its course in the idea that it will melt eventually.

    For now, I must start with 5 stars as I see a good design that is ready to go. Just waiting on the missing element.

    Works better than I hoped. It really moves snow and lasts a long time on one charge, plus it lets me use any of my many Milwaukee batteries. We get a lot of snow where I live and I clear the driveway with a big Cub Cadet snowblower, but I got this to get to the hard to navigate areas, like steps, doorway approaches, and between cars. It cleans those areas really quick.

    I recently had cause to test this (thanks, winter) and was pleased that it came with everything needed to get started. You can choose which direction the snow blows out, which was nice for doing passes over the same area and not putting the extra snow on both sides. Do install the blue support handle. You use the blower like a snow shovel, only taking a certain amount or layer each time, so the blue handle helps you hold it at the right level. I didn't at first and it made it harder than it needed to be. Happy with this!

    It is very simple to assemble, literally just jointing the pole. It was powerful enough working on cleaning my driveway. I really like the adjustable throw directions. It would be much better if the battery doubled. Overall it is a compact and helpful snow shovel in hand.
