I have some of these candles and I ordered them for my daughter because I liked mine so much. She loves hers too. There's no worries about Flames or pets getting near knocking it over and starting a fire, because there is no real flame. It runs on batteries and from a distance they Flicker and look realistic and add a pleasant Ambience to the room. I got the ones that have pine needles and red berries and I ordered the three white ones for my daughter. Both styles are absolutely gorgeous and I highly recommend this product. I put it on timer and it goes for what seems like four hours and then shuts itself off. When I first got them I forgot that I had them on and the next evening when I was sitting in the living room they suddenly turned themselves on again and I realized that it's because I had them set on timer. What a great bonus that is in my opinion because just when it gets dark they came on and it was lovely to have them working throughout the evening. They shut off by themselves just as I was about to go to bed. I'm really well pleased with these candles
