    Setup was a breeze. The instructions were clear, she downloaded the app, and had it up and running in no time, without any help. She’s not very tech-savvy, so it was great to see how easy it was for her to handle.

    The dual seed bins each hold a lot of birdseed and are fantastic! She can put two different kinds of seeds in, and it’s been attracting a wide variety of birds to her yard. She’s seen finches, cardinals, and even a woodpecker, all enjoying the feeder. It’s brought her so much joy to see all the different birds visiting.

    The app features are an added bonus. The camera provides clear pictures and notifications, so she never misses a moment and can store captures of different species in the FeatherSnap Bird Book. She loves getting alerts and seeing what birds are at the feeder throughout the day.

    We got this camera feeder because it allows you to use 2 different types of seed. We love everything about it except that the seed does not come down well on its own into the tray where the birds eat from. We have to go out and either tap on it or use a chopstick to get the seed to come down. It’s not a deal breaker but it could have been designed a little better.

    This FeatherSnap smart bird feeder was so easy to set up. Within about 5 minutes, I had my first pictures sent to my phone. It took the birds a few hours to get used to it, but I started getting pictures and great videos the first day!

    The feeder is really well built and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. It came with a mounting bracket and strap. I chose to screw it in to the wall instead of strapping it to a tree.

    My wife, kids and I are really enjoying the AI bird book and identifying the different species. I’ve used a few of these feeders and can say this is the best by far! Unlike the other brands on Amazon, you can tell this is made with pride and has a nice American touch! It does require a purchase to take advantage of all the features, but the bird book/facts alone are worth it.

    Great purchase! Highly recommended as a gift or for your family!

    I will start by saying the bird feeder itself is really nice. It was easy to set up and feels sturdy.

    The camera is easy to install and charged pretty quickly on an older USB charging brick.

    Here's the reason for the one star. You cannot view any pictures on their app without a subscription ($60 annually). This is a $180 bird feeder. Why can't I at least view pictures via the app? Such a scam.

    I would understand limiting live streaming or utilizing the AI features for a premium; but basic image viewing? Ridiculous.

    I'd you don't mind paying extra or are an avid bird watcher then this probably isn't a major turn off. But for the casual backyard bird enjoyer, the annual subscription is a scummy money grab.

    Buyer be warned.

I never realized we got so many different species right here in our backyard!! My kids and I have a great time using the AI feature to help us identify the birds and collecting our badges.

    My husband typically sets up our devices but he was traveling for work when this arrived. IT WAS SO EASY!! I was so proud of how quickly I was able to connect the camera and start receiving photos and videos :)

    We love this feeder so much that we may get a second one for our front yard! I am definitely buying a few for gifts for upcoming birthdays and holidays :) Highly recommend!
