    With the right combination of a consistently full bromine dispenser and regular changing of these filters, I'm finding no need for draining/re-filling our spa (Bestway SaluSpa Hawaii), at least so far. We've literally used it at least once a day since we set it up nearly two months ago, and the original water is still clean/clear. If your spa uses a Type VI (six) filter, these should work fine for you. Can't figure out what went wrong with the reviewer who complained they didn't fit/seal properly in his OE filter case ... I think the guy just bought the wrong size filters for his particular spa, because "Type VI" is a standard size/configuration. Only thing you should be worried about is, e.g., the density/quality of the filter material, and the quality of the molded, rubbery stuff they use to bind the ends. Those features are fine on these filters. So far for us, they've worked just as well as the two originals supplied with the spa. Trying to clean/re-use them is a useless hassle ... rinsing them out doesn't remove the fine particles that clog up the pores of the filter material. Once that happens, water may still be passing through the filter, but you're just re-circulating dirty water. I swap 'em out as soon as I see any reduction in flow from the recirculating jet, or any persistent cloudiness/particles in the water (every 1-2 weeks). You'll spend a little more on replacement filters, but yeesh, at this price they're only about $5 each, and I'll take "clean-as-possible" spa water for that price any day of the week. Decent product, does the job.

    We use these filters for our portable hot tub. The filters are great because you can rinse and get at least another use. We just moved out to the country and have a well. The hot tub doesn't like the well water so we are having to change the filters more often until we can get the right chemical mix. At this price we don't notice the difference.

    I have tried several filters of this size in different brands. None compare to the sunset brand in durability and longevity. PS I do rinse my filter with every use however, this filter does not break down and put blue flakes in your water like all the other filters. It is more pricier, but well worth the concern of your pump and hassle of dipping out blue flakes from other brands, plus the longevity of the filter is Remarkable it’s a one month filter in my Opinion

    These filters work great in my Coleman Saluspa. Good deal for the money as we have to replace ours often due to hard water.

    These are great in our Coleman Saluspa. We spray them out with the hose and they're practically like new. Thus they last a long, long time. Filter mesh material is a high quality plastic that stands up to hard spraying. Will definitely buy again.

    We have tried a few brands and never realized we were not getting our moneys worth until these. We were going through 1 to 2 other filers every month in our inflatable hot tub. But with these, I lost track of time. I dont know how long its been but I am sure its been well over 3 months. And even now, with a little power wash, they come almost 100% clean. And the tub is clean too so it is working. This is the kind of thing where you build total brand loyalty. I will never buy any other. I bought a few packs on a deal and now feel like I am probably set for at least a year. Excellent filters
