    I needed some backup batteries for some of my ryobi products -- heater, fan, chain saw, blower, vacuum, drill, etc. I love Ryobi products, but the batteries can be expensive and sometimes you need more than one to get a job done. You need one to charge while using the other. So..... I recently purchased the Futurebatt [2Pack] 18V 6.0 Ah HIGH Capacity Battery and so far I am impressed.

    As a user of multiple Ryobi products, these high-capacity batteries have significantly enhanced my experience, especially now that it is summer. The Ryobi portable fan and portable misting fan are must haves at my kids' sports events.

    The 6.0 Ah capacity provides exceptional runtime, ensuring that the fans stay powered throughout the entire game, even on the hottest days. This has been a game-changer for keeping the kids cool and comfortable, as well as providing relief for the whole family.

    The batteries came partially charged and charged up all the way. I have used them a couple of times and they are still going strong.

    These batteries hold up pretty well and will run my mower for enough time to get my front & rear lawn mowed. The name brand batteries seem to be a bit higher quality, but these are good enough to get the job done at a fraction of the cost. I would recommend them if you are a value conscious shopper.

    This is so much better than my old Ryobi batteries. I can’t believe I waited this long. The build quality is very decent and the performance and power are really good. It does last a very long time. The battery charge status lights are precise. I can even take them off easier from the power tools compared to the original Ryobi batteries. I highly recommend these batteries.

    I bought one of these 6Ah batteries in October 2024 for use with my Ryobi 18v chainsaw - I have a Ryobi battery and charger that came with the chainsaw but was looking for a second battery to give me more time between charges to cut up a bunch of trees that fell in our backyard during Hurricane Helene.

    the one I got was Futurebatt brand, and I looked at a bunch of reviews of different types before buying it. Most of them look basically the same, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're all made in the same factory and just sold under different names.

    the first day it arrived, I unpacked it and charged it up, then put it in the chainsaw and went out back and used it for about an hour and a half - it worked fine and seemed like a great buy. But every single time I've used it since, though - yesterday was the fourth overall use since receiving the battery - it dies after less than ten minutes of use.

    the second and third time I used it, I charged it fully a couple of days ahead of time and just tested the charge indicator button on the day of use to see that all four lights lit up showing full charge. It still died almost immediately on the second use and then after about 5-7 minutes on the third use.

    yesterday, I decided to charge it up fully right before I used it, but it still quit on me in almost no time at all. The charge indicator showed all four lights lit up when I started cutting, then five minutes later I've got a dead battery with only one light lit on the indicator.

    meanwhile my actual Ryobi battery has lasted for 2+ hours of cutting every time I use it. So I've learned my lesson - you get what you pay for, and I will definitely not be buying any more of these off brand junk batteries.

    If you’re like me you don’t want to pay the box store prices on replacement batteries especially for older tools. This was the right price and the quality and performance do not seem to be lacking. I highly recommend.

    I was very skeptical.. but they are great for the price.. worth the $$ in my book.. Ryobi batteries are crazy expensive.
