Seems to be working for squirrel going up my drainpipe. And have only seen 1 palmetto bug since I put them out

These seem to work. I haven't seen any evidence of mice since using these. I like that they are safe to use in the house when you have other pets. They have a pleasant smell too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Time will tell, but product is good quality.

Each tablet/repellent is individually wrapped in plastic. In the box is a drawstring bag for hanging and scent release. I have used peppermint oil in the past, and these have a couple more ingredients that provide a strong scent. Time will tell how effective they are, but I see them working well with similar product use in my garaged vehicles over the winter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seems effective!
Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2024
I live out in the country, so we have little critters, all kinds! I would rather repel them, than the other option, so I really do like these peppermint oil-based mouse repellers. We received a 24-pack.

They are small enough to tuck away somewhere where the dogs and cats can't get to them, but big enough to be effective. I toss a few under the house, put one under each of our vehicles, under the kitchen sink, next to the water heater, etc - anywhere there is the scent of food or water. The bonus is that the house smells good, too!

My dogs don't seem too interested in them, so that's good.

I'm skeptical that the ingredient list printed on the side of the box is accurate. These balls have a strong menthol-like smell, similar to Vicks. Menthol can be made synthetically or obtained from peppermint. But this is not a pleasant peppermint fragrance. This smells (and looks) like a urinal cake. I used to run a soap making factory where we used all these ingredients in our soap. The odor of these cakes does not seem to my nose to be the combination of these ingredients. I tend to think there's something else in them.

The ingredient list gives percentages for each of the listed ingredients. The final line gives the total, which is naturally 100%. 20% of this total is made up of liquid oils. The only solid ingredient is corn cob. that makes up the remaining 80%. It is obvious though that these balls contain other items not listed. For one, some balls are yellow and others are green. There must be some dyes added to obtain at least one of these colors. There also must be some sort of a glue that holds these in their rock-hard, pellet-like form. I don't think you could get corn cob and oil to this state with only heat or pressure.

Do they work? Well my dog hates the smell. She won't come near them. I suppose a mouse would be similar. There are no instructions on how to use these included on or in the box. So I'm not sure how far to space them apart. Will one ball do a whole room? How long will they last? There is a paper in the box that allows the purchaser to scan a QR code and activate a "Lifetime Warranty." Scanning this takes you to a "warranty" website that has nothing to do with the product (it appears to be for a vaguely explained electronic seller) and asks for an email address. Not a chance. Plus, it is certainly these balls will eventually loose their fragrance and become ineffective. There is no way that this warranty replace them at that point or any other? It's a scam.

The box contains 24, individually packaged, rodent repellent balls, and 24 small, draw-string bags to put them in. The bags are made out of the same type of material as a tea bag. No directions or suggestions for use are included.

These mouse repellents smell like other ones I have used in the past. They are convenient pellets with a bag for each that can be used to help place without contact. Although I have had these for only a limited time, based on prior experience I expect that these will last 2 to 3 months depending on the environment. We used these our RV which does help with rodent control.

Effective repellent with natural ingredient! Without using toxic chemicals with high risk, this repellent is safe for kids and pets. The repellent should be packed in several provided pouches that can be easily deployed in the field to the areas with more mouse activities. It is very effective with expelling of mouse from the premises. It is ideal for home, garage and storage warehouse and etc. I'm very satisfied.

Not comfortable using these on the main floors with pets, I decided to put them in the attic. They just give me a little extra peace of mind. As far as I know, we don't have any mice up there. But now I'm a little more certain.
