    Purchased the Westinghouse 22 Snowblower on Amazon. I needed a small snowblower to clear my deck and patio form snow to let my 2 dogs out. I live just south of Buffalo NY 3 miles off lake Erie. As luck would have it the evening I received the delivery we were getting hit with heavy lake effect snow. Next morning I went out to the garage and assembled the blower. Directions are clear and easy to follow if you read them if you don't you will end up taking it a part to get it right. (and I only did this when my wife came out to help). It then went together easily. I took it right out and gave it a try WOW! There was a little less than a foot of wet snow this Westinghouse 22" blower has lot of power and throws the snow a good distance. The blower worked perfectly. I love it, so glad I purchased it.

    We've had two decent 8+ inch snowfalls already this year. This corded blower powered through both of them with no problem at all. The two lights on the front made it much easier in the early morning hours.
    The harder you push through the snow, the more power this machine seems to give you.

    Now, the three issues I have:

    1) Clearing attachment: This clips on the one one side of the handle. After only two uses I found that it gets knocked off easily; sometimes with the clips included. I've opted to simply remove it all and go back and grab it if I need it.

    2) Safety Start Button: The start button must be pressed in while pulling the hand grip. If you release the hand grip the blower shuts off. The button is located near the hand grip (on the right side of the handle). The problem occurs when you try to reach the hand grip WHILE pressing the button to start the blower. I realize that the design lowers production costs, but it would be better to have the hand grip located on the opposite side or even BOTH sides so that you can more easily start the blower.

    3) The Cord Restraint Hook. I needed a 100 foot cord. The blower manual states that it should be used with a 12 AWG cord for that length. Unfortunately, the diameter of a 12 AWG cord doesn't even come close to fitting through and into the cord restraint hook. I've taken to simply looping the end of the cord through a loose knot rather than to even try using the hook.

    From a performance standpoint, the WSnow22 rates 100%. Any of the issues I have all seem to be technical rather than something which is actually "wrong" with the blower. We purchased this for $200 and are extremely pleased over all. While the cord might take some getting used to for some people, the reliability of NOT using a battery helps to put our mind at ease. (Obviously a power outage would be an issue)

    Easy to put together, lightweight and very maneuverable. That means a lot to me as an elderly person that doesn’t have a lot of strength. Westinghouse has always been a good brand and looking at the overall quality this will live up to the name, built way better than others I’ve seen.

    I found this very easy to assemble and it appears that it will be quite easy to operate. All parts were included, and no additional tools were needed to complete the assembly. Some of the assembly diagrams could be improved, however close examination of the diagrams does clear up any confusion. Waiting for Snow for the real acid test of this item.

    Product arrived well packaged and undamaged. On first appearance the product is solid, sturdy, and well built. Product was easy and quick to assemble. Not completely happy with the way the handle folds. You have to unscrew the fasteners to the point of them falling apart to begin to rotate the handle into a folding configuration. Also if you fold the lower section of the handle, it clumsily interacts with the chute adjustment handle pushing the grommet out of place which was really tough to reposition without damaging it. User manual is clear and legible. Did not have snow as of the writing of this review, but connected the snowblower to power and started it to confirm it worked. It sounds somewhat like a vacuum cleaner, yet well designed and blows a hefty amount of air out of the chute. Looking forward to finding out how it performs in the snow.

    Bought this off of Amazon and delivery was super quick! Assembly was easy and instructions were thorough. I almost can't wait for the next snowfall. Would definitely recommend for someone who doesn't have a huge driveway.

    This was so easy to put together. It is simple to operate with just the right amount of features. The lights are a really nice touch and I am so glad I got the steel auger. Great buy!

    I was going to buy another product but based on the glowing reviews I bought this one. Bad move. There were missing parts. Numerous missing parts. I suspect this was a returned product because some of the parts were not in a baggy and parts that didn’t seem to belong in here that were also loose. And there were supposed to be holes where some of the parts were supposed to be screwed in but there were no holes. (Ie the holes were there on one side but not the other). Contrary to what some said that it was easy to put together I’d say I put toy houses together that were simpler. Of course this may have felt hard since there were missing / wrong parts and it took a little while to figure that out. I recruited someone to help me who is a lot more mechanical minded and they felt the same way. I shipped it back. Even if everything was there, I was shocked at how cheap this was. I can’t imagine this working in a colorado snowstorm. And I only have a driveway. It felt more like a big plastic toy than a machine.
