    This lawn mower drive belt did the job! Fit perfect like it’s suppose to and functional! Appears to be high quality and at a very descent price! Fixed just in time to mulch leaves for the fall! Easy to install.

    First up, this is a quality belt. Works perfectly.

    I replaced the drive belt on my lawn tractor, from the engine to the mower deck. A Husqvarna. I've owned a few and replaced belts before. Well, 2 minutes of running and the belt shredded. Spectacularly. So I got a second one. I checked everything 4-6 times to make sure that it was perfectly installed. It worked fine on a short test run. Then I mowed the grass. The second belt shredded within 2-3 minutes. Dang. On to the third belt. It installed and tested fine. As I started to mow, it didn't feel quite right, so I stopped. Well. My Husqvarna has mower deck height settings from 1-6. The grass was very high, so I was running the deck at 6. I found that at the setting of 5 or 6, the belt was rubbing on the chassis of the tractor. And shredding. Mowing at a height setting of 4 or less is just fine. Not the belts fault. Really stupid design by Husqvarna. And an expensive lesson, expensive in time, work, frustration. By the way, the local small engine repair shop sells the same belt for more than TWICE as much. Buy on Amazon.

    This 954-04207 Kevlar Drive belt fit my 2013 Cub Cadet LTX1042 Hydrostatic Drive mower perfectly. It also seems to be very high quality and hopefully will be the last one I buy since the original belt did last 11 years. So I guess I can't complain.

    It is a little tricky to install and requires an impact tool to loosen the main belt drive pulley shaft. There are a lot of Cub Cadet models, so it took me some time to find a YouTube video that showed the change out process for a model that was similar enough to mine. Without that video, it would have tripled the belt install time from about 1 hour to 3 or more.

    Broke after 1 hour
    Not sure where the issue originates.
    Last belt lasted two years but broke suddenly.
    Will be buying a new belt from a different company
    but will also change the spindles as a precaution.
    No issue with my current spindles other than two years old and are not as well made as the originals,
    like everything else we buy.
    Update 11/21/2014
    Tried second belt from different company/manufacturer same result, belt shredded.
    Replaced spindles blades and idler pulleys. finally readjusted one idler pulley and third belt has worked for 1.5 acres. So good start.
    Readjusted rating due to the fact this company reached out to me to offer a refund.
    Refused due to obvious mechanical and more likely mechanic (me) issue.
    Great customer service. Will use them again if I can.

    I have had a big MDC/Cub Cadet mower for over 30 Years and the UDC belt is the best one I have ever used with the Kevlar strands and polymer rubber.. It is stretch resistant and long life.. 1 big mistake that people do is they get the wrong size or width belt.. The width is extremely important so it sits in the pullys properly .. Mine is 5/8 but if I used 1/2 or .5 and get a shorter belt to make up the defferents in the depth it sits in the pully!! it would work but it would wear out a lot faster because it rides deeper in the pully and dose not fit the V in the pully .. So the pully will wear the belt to it's shape and cause big problems with premature wear and slippage (Heat) know matter the quality of the belt !! So make sure you get the right width and langth belt for long life..
