Genuine greenworks battery

Aside from the prohibitive initial cost, this is an excellent battery. The reviewer who gave this a 1 star rating and said it doesn't last as long as his 4ah battery must have gotten the wrong battery, because this 5ah battery is bigger and heavier, and definitely lasts longer than the 4ah battery. I have a Greenworks 80v mower, and this 5ah battery allows me to mow my entire yard (about an hour, nonstop) without needing a recharge. My mower came with a 4ah battery, which wasn't quite enough. Now I have a 5ah, 4ah, and 2ah battery, so I never run out of battery power (I run out of juice long before the batteries do... haha). My review is based on initial use... durability and longevity remains to be seen, since I've only had my Greenworks products for about 2 months. I have a Greenworks mower, blower, weed whacker, and chainsaw, and I am absolutely happy with each product, as well as the battery life. I highly recommend Greenworks products if you are looking for top quality.

Larger battery capacity makes it much easier to complete mowing and weed eating my yard without having to stop to recharge. I'm able to mow, weed eat and edge my .30 acre lot with just under half a charge remaining.

We have a large lot and so I presumed that one battery wouldn't be sufficient to get us through it. I bought a 2nd to make sure but so far, the one battery has powered us through an entire mowing, which I was surprised by. I can't comment on the longevity of this battery yet but so far, I'm very pleased with it. In terms of the value for the money, I rated this 4 stars (out of 5) because I think all of these types of batteries are incredibly costly, but still, as long as it lasts for a while, I'll be good with it.

I bought two of these for a dual blade mower

One came with the mower, and one I purchased alone. Both of them are the same size, physically and power-wise, obviously, and they are the same weight, etc… idk what problems all these people are having. I smell paid negative ads from a competing company. Everything works as expected… one battery can mow about half an acre with this very efficient mower (the Greenworks 80v 25” dual blade brushless) and that includes self propulsion.

Small Piece Of Loose Metal Rattling Around Inside

Shipping box and loose product box inside both arrived intact, but there is a small piece of metal loose inside the product. None of my other GreenWorks batteries make this noise. With all of the warnings about some lithium ion batteries catching fire, this one was returned the same day.
