5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent heater that actually works.

It’s definitely an excellent compact heater that actually works and produces the right amount of heat for my needs not just for camping, after giving this heater a try I’m getting another one and I do like the fact that it comes with an adapter and stabilizer base for the 1lbs propane bottles, with the adapter I could attach the heater to a propane distribution tree and use a 25lbs or smaller propane tanks, one thing to keep in mind and remember is to let the heater cool down completely before storing in it’s case.

It is small and mighty. Every year we freeze our .........off at an event at the local ski resort for their big annual event. Standing on the snow for 8 ish hours in sub freezing, often windy temps. So, I was going to get one of the big 360 heater type doohickeys you put on top of a propane tank. Problem is, I really didn't want to haul the tank because we don't have a lot of room. But, getting older, and tired of freezing every year lol. Then i found this smaller version. So I bought 2, so we could put them on either end of the table (it is not going to heat the space, it is not enclosed) hoping it would provide some relief. Oh we got teased about our baby heaters, but they made the world of difference. We ran these for...all together about 11 hours. 7 hours straight the first day, and about 4 hours the 2nd. Still have gas left over, and they were a game changer.
We never expected it to heat the air, but when you were standing at the table it sucked less, and when one of us got cold toes, we would pull one of the heaters, and put it on the ground near the feet. If your hands got cold, you just put them in front of the heater for a minute and back into the gloves. . The base that comes with it is very stable, and quite honestly, perfectly designed. Oh, and they cool to the touch really fast. Yes, it was only 17 degrees outside, but considering it had been running for about 6 hours, being able to man handle it 10 mins after turning it off is impressive.
My only issue with it. storing everything together. Here is the deal, it comes with a great protective case for the main component /heating element. Fantastic, protects it and it won't melt if it is a little warm. However, to use it you need to add the adapter, the base and there is a little wrench that comes with it (super helpful) , but those 3necessary, well, 1 is mandatory, the other 2 are convenient, and the stand is a safety thing for sure, you can't put them in the storage/protective pod with the adapter or the wrench. So, there is no way, with what is provided, to keep them together conveniently. I will be getting some kind of small gear bag for them for storing and keeping together, it is just such a well created product, you would think it would come with some kind of draw string bag, or a pocket or just a little bigger so you can keep the adapter attached....just musings, and certainly not enough to knock the rating, because it is great. I am looking forward to taking them camping. These will be perfect on the colder eves, put on either end of the picnic table to add a little warmth to the hands while I lose my life savings of jelly bellies to my 'good' friends. I can see so many applications where you just need a little heat. I imagine it could be great for a tent too. PRobably warm it right up (used safely and on a solid surface of course) It does not have an auto shut off, so if it tips it stays running, but the base is super solid. Anyway, I will stop gushing about this lil heater, and just state: strongly recommend.

Unit works well but in about a dozen or so starts the onboard electric sparker quit working so now it's long snoot lighter time to get the fire started. The top portion is not very sturdy as I had inadvertently bent it a little and then bent it back straight. Might possibly be what made the push button spark start stop working, so I have to be fair in that the malfunction may have been user error.
    .
I like that it comes with a wrench for the adapter which allows it to go from running the iso butane cans to tapping off the 1 lb. camper size propane bottles; I use both. If you just need enough heat to take the edge off this is the one and the carry container is of good sturdy construction.

Works great! Puts off more heat then you would expect for it size. It is very light and extremely cheaply made but for 35 bucks its not bad. I would love if it was a little more heavy duty and cost more to purchase but as is I am happy with it. Buy it you wont be disappointed.

Perfect thats all I can say about this heater. I originally purchased one of the bigger name brands for my outdoor space but realized it was overkill and just big for a 8x10 shed for when I needed quick heat in the colder days. I just wanted something portable and small to use when in my shed and my wife to use in her she shed. Also that I would be able to put in storage when it starts getting warmer out and not take up so much room. So I came across this on Amazon and all I can say is perfect. The size is compact has igniter, built-in, and this baby throws off a lot of heat. On top of that comes with its own storage container for when not in use. Easy to set up for propane comes with the adapter just needed to screw it on even comes with the wrench to fasten it securely. As you can see from my video, it ignites very quickly. I decided to try it out in my wife’s she shed (greenhouse) that is 6x8x10, in the middle of winter, which is an outdoor structure that she uses for her hangout spot it has a thermometer inside of it. So the Outside temperature is 41° When I first walked in to the greenhouse the temperature was at 47° i started running this little heater on low for approximately 20 minutes the temperature rose to 58° that’s insane for such little heater in that short of time. Definitely worth every penny. If anything happens, I will post an update, but as of right now this thing is fantastic.

Bought it to use in my hunting blind. It's small and light weight and helps keep my arthritis butt warm while hunting. Light it and turn it down as low as it will go and sit it right in front of your legs and it feels great. Just have to be careful with it as the hood is extremely flimsy. It seems to just sip gas. Would recommend if you want heat in your hunting blind. Just make sure you have good ventilation.

1.0 out of 5 stars No heat, constant sputtering

I bought this thinking it was a cheaper alternative to the Mr. Buddy Little Buddy Heater. Let's just say I've learned my lesson about going cheap! This unit produces almost no heat - you have to have your hands no more than 1 foot away to feel any heat at all. Forget heating a space. I bought it to heat the cabin of my tiny teardrop camper, which is a grand total of 5 feet wide by 6 feet long by 4 feet high, and it couldn't even do that much. To top it all off, the unit is constantly sputtering even with a full tank of propane and all connections clean and tight. Without producing heat, all it does is waste fuel. Don't waste your money on this unit.
