    We're fairly new to gardening and have been battling these slimy critters since we started. Watched all of the YT videos and tried many of the DIY solutions and nothing worked. Our plants kept getting decimated.

    Out of desperation, we looked at commercial solutions, and we should have started there. These little pellets worked when nothing else would. We used the baits as instructed and nearly immediately saw far fewer slugs and much less damage to our plants. The fact that they are safe to use around pets and wildlife also provided necessary peace-of-mind that there wouldn't be unintended consequences.

    I don't like to wholesale eradicate any sort of critter, but a garden is hard work and can become costly. Nobody invests all that time and money just to increase the slug population. If you feel like that is all you are doing, as we did, pick up a bag of these. I suspect you will be happy you did.

    I use this product regularly during the growing season to keep the snails and slugs at bay. I find it very effective and choose this brand or Sluggo as they are both safe around pets and wildlife. They can also be used around edibles - veggies and rhubarb, for example. It lasts through rain as the pellets are hard. I would recommend it.

    I don't know that there is much difference in slug and snail bait brands. Garden Safe brand seems to work as well as anything I bought from the local box store. The price was about the same too, so when I use this up, I'll likely buy Garden Safe again.

    I recently tried Garden Safe Slug & Snail Bait and I’m really pleased with the results. This bait effectively killed slugs and snails within just a few days.     I was very hopeful when I got this and went to sprinkling right away! I used it several times in and around my garden where various plants have been eaten up by snails. Didn’t seem to do anything, and my plants are still getting eaten - I’ve put a snail in a container with the bait and the snail died (I was curious, I’m sorry!) but it just doesn’t seem like they choose to eat it. Also has caused mold problems in some of my plants’ soil when it wasn’t eaten.

    Works great, doesn't harm other creatures, or plants. Had a major problem with snails destroying my gardens, but no longer an issue after a few treatments.
