    Just picked this up to go with our 13000 Westinghouse generator, and luckily had it for Hurricane Beryl. Paid a professional electrician to install. Looks great. Works great. High quality. Highly recommend.

    The knockouts in the power inlet box were only 7/8" diameter, which are only large enough to accommodate 1/2" conduit. I had purchased some 50-amp wire (3/6 + 1/8 ground, all copper) to wire the box to my main panel. I measured its diameter as about 5/8" (0.625"); 1/2" conduit only has an ID of 0.622" to 0.642", and the fittings have a smaller ID, as they fit inside the conduit (these dimensions are for "Liquid Tight" flexible PVC conduit). The knockouts each had a strain-relief/dust barrier, that appeared to be designed for passing-through bare wire (without conduit). So, if your plan is not to use conduit, or if 1/2" conduit is sufficient (perhaps you are only running 3/8 + 1/10 ground wire, which might handle 50-amps, but is borderline), then this box might work. However, since it is a 50-amp rated box, it really should have knockouts for at least 3/4" conduit (0.820" to 0.840"). I retuned it and purchased a box/cord package that was advertised with 1.2" knockouts. (My measurement indicated they are just over 1", but large enough for 3/4" conduit fittings.)
