I like tailgating at home in the garage with the boys, starting early in the morning when its colder in the Fall. I've tried this a few few times now. Eventually I am getting a permanent heating solution in the garage, but I figured this is good for now.
Pros:
Fast: heat starts quickly
Convenient: Easy to setup compared to something like a wood stove
Portable: I can take this with me to my friends' places as well
Safety: ETL cert and it claims overheat protection, although I'm not risking using this inside the home
Cons:
Noise: The fan does make a level of noise, since I'm basically partying I don't care much, it gets drowned out
Coverage: small to mid sized areas only, but that is what they advertised I felt
Power: Electric heaters do add to your powerbill, this is 1500W to use
Durability: Its good, but it feels like I'll have problems long-term. I won't use it too much so its okay for me.
Overall it works good for me. I think I got the right product for the right job.
