    Once installed, you simply load the wood logs on your grate and light the unit. No kindling needed. In a couple of minutes there is a beautiful fire and the unit can be turned off a little later. So far, it works great

    The castings this burner screws into lasts for a long time. The pipes last a few seasons before burning in half. This replacement works well and was less expensive than replacement of the entire assembly. I anticipate it will last as long as previous burners.
