5.0 out of 5 stars Great inverter!

Works exactly as advertised. I am able to run a 1.2 hp air compressor off of this inverter with no issues. I use this in my utility trailer and it has been rock solid for everything. I use it for cordless battery chargers, pellet grills, diesel heater and much more. Well worth the cost. Very well built.
There is a remote available for this to remotely control from a wall switch. I highly recommend this as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent unit. Oscilloscope shows perfect sine wave even under heavy load

Upon purchasing this inverter, I decided to put it through its paces. A picture of my test setup is shown. You will see the inverter, a KILL-A-WATT LCD meter to show wattage, hertz, and voltage, and an electric heater as a test load. Also, connected to the output is an oscilloscope to display the waveform produced by the inverter under varying loads.

I was very pleased to see the inverter produce a perfect sine wave output under an idle load, a 600 watt load, and a 1047 watt load. The output voltage and frequency remained steady regardless of the load. At maximum load the unit became slightly warm, but this is to be expected.

All things considered, this is an excellent pure sine wave inverter.

For reference, one of the pictures shows the output of another inverter I own. This one claims the output is a "modified sine wave". There is nothing about this that looks like a sine wave to me. It is nothing but a flat topped square wave with a lot of time spent at zero output. If anything, I would call it a modified square wave.

Do not buy such "modified sine wave" inverters and use them for anything that contains electronics.

During a power outage I used my previous inverter to power a laptop. After about a half hour the power brick stopped functioning and never worked again. I noticed it was hot, but didn't think about it at the time. It is clear now that the modified SQUARE wave output from my inverter killed it. Don't make the same mistake.

1,000 wants of power can keep your refrigerator, your furnace, and lots of lights going in your house in case of a power failure. This is a great unit to provide backup power, as well as supply power for camping and other uses.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Pure Sine Wave Inverter
Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2025
I purchased this to put in my DIY solar generator/power station/battery box I built. It was an excellent value on sale and even if it wasn't on sale it was an excellent value. Like others have mentioned the included hardware is a bit odd. The wrench fit and worked, but there were a few 40A fuses and no indication as to where those would go or why they'd be included. At about 900w AC output the inverter draws just over 100A DC, so 40A fuses aren't going to be useful. The manufacturer included a nice length of wire (about 3ft red and 3ft black) for connecting to the DC power source. I'd say the wire is probably close to or between 4AWG and 6AWG. It looks smaller than 4AWG, but bigger than 6AWG. It seems to be sufficient for my use. If you're going to run 1000W through this AC inverter regularly, I would probably upgrade the wires to 4AWG.

I like that they included plastic covers for the DC terminals and little plastic acorn nuts to cover the bolts that stick through the plastic covers. Those cover those bolts, but also keep the plastic housings in place over the DC terminals so nothing can short out. I tested this with a 900W space heater without any issues. I didn't test how long it would run it for since that depends mostly on the battery, however it powers it up no problems.

Some reviewers stated this isn't a pure sine wave inverter, but I disagree. I had a friend bring over an oscilloscope and test the AC output and we saw a pure sine wave output at 119 volts and 59.6 Hertz. That is within range of the specifications (59.5Hz to 60.5Hz) that power companies have to deliver to your home. I feel completely comfortable using and recommending this inverter.

My only real complaint is that the company makes a remote power switch and display that can be mounted away from the inverter, however it is not included with the inverter. It appears to be an optional $20 part. It's not a deal breaker for the price, but if you need it, be sure to purchase it separately.

Overall I would recommend this inverter if you're on a budget or just want to save a bit of extra cash. I can't speak to longevity, but it felt durable and heavy duty, so I expect it should last awhile, especially since I won't be running 1000W all the time and I won't be using it daily either. If I have any issues, I'll update this review.

1.0 out of 5 stars No where near spec output

This unit quits trying to deliver 700 watts. I could only keep it running consistently by keepint it under 600 watts. The fan is excessively loud at this rate. All-in-all, a poorly designed unit and innacurate in the description.

This inverter works perfectly. I have tested it to its full rating and it keeps 120 V and keeps a pure side wave. The remote control is a nice touch when is handy for remote work has the same display as it would on the inverter. I would buy another one if need be highly recommend works well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent and a surprise for the price!

I live in an RV w/ solar for power. I'd been using a modified 3000 watt inverter, and the plugs were burning up so I got this 2000 watt pure sine wave one.
    Two Pros I've noticed.
The plugs and socket are not getting hot anymore, even though same habits with power.
    2. I'll share this in an example. With the mod inverter when I turned on certain things like my ice machine, the battery would go from 13v something to the high 12's until I turn the ice machine off. Now, with this, the battery voltage either doesn't move or does a point or sometimes just two. This with the conditions and the same machine.
I'm really happy with this so far. I've had it for a few weeks now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very happy with this inverter

So far this inverter has proven even better than I had hoped. I have it cabled to a single 12v Power Queen battery to begin cycling it for future use, but the inverter itself performs extremely well. Everything works. The remote, the readouts, the low-voltage alarm, etc. The cables supplied with the unit are plenty hefty and are more than adequate. I'll be adding additional batteries and eventually have this inverted tethered to a solar panel controller and panels.

4.0 out of 5 stars Draws alot of power

This inverter is pure sine wave, but it draws way more power than a modified wave inverter. Seams to work well.
