5.0 out of 5 stars Can't do without these

We have an infestation of gnats in our plants, which we're working on eradicating with bt aka mosquito dunks, applied when we water. Until we do though, and to keep track of whether our method is working, we're using these sticky traps. We also find them useful for fungus gnats and those little noseeums that get through the screens in the summer time. These are a good value and work very well. Just stick them in the soil, remove the paper and you have a very sticky trap.

And here's a tip for when someone, invariably, gets stuck to one of these, gets their hair in one, or picks one up by the sticky part. Use baby oil, mineral oil or jojoba oil on the problem, and then wash with soap and water. I prefer jojoba oil, myself, because it's non-drying.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love these

I've been using these for years.

I started using them for my aero gardens, for the little tiny gnats, I don't typically see them unless I use these traps and find them on the traps.

I also started using these when I had fruit flies in my home.

These also work on larger flies, but typically better on smaller ones.

The last two july, since living in my home, i've had a burst of random flies that last a few weeks, and they're gone almost as quickly as they came. These help get any tiny ones what's as well as some large ones.

During the big fly boom of july while these little sticky traps are near my gardens, I get many variety of fly on them.

I keep them around all my plants as a precautionary measure, they're fairly cheap, they're not terrible looking and they're nice and sticky. They downside is when my cat goes where he does not belong, he ends up taking one with him as a hitchhiker on his tail, it is very amusing to watch him run in circles, but also frightening because he's terrified and could hurt himself. And they are very effective in pulling off cat fur.

Anyway, I love these for their ability to catch all the tiny little flies without myself doing any actual work in killing them.

I highly recommend these. I typically buy the ones that are the best deal at the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super effective and a great deal!

This pack was a great value for the price. We use them around our indoor house plants, and they are exceptionally easy to use. I appreciate that this brand had a tab to be able to remove the paper from the stick portion, so it didn’t stick to the person using it, but was definitely sticky enough to trap any and all flying creatures that landed on it. Found that we could leave them in for months without ever losing their stickiness, too, which was great!

4.0 out of 5 stars Gnat Solution
Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2024
Cleanuper Flying Insect Traps are a reliable solution for controlling pesky gnats and other flying insects. They're particularly effective when placed near a source of attraction, such as a fruit bowl or a lightly sprayed bug attractant. We've been using these traps year-round to keep our home gnat-free. If you're tired of swatting at annoying bugs, these traps are a simple and effective solution.

I've tried pesticides, apple cider vinegar, and straight up hunting them down and clapping them dead. These little sticky traps have noticeably and effectively captured those little B A S T A R D S and have significantly reduced there activity. They went to work IMMEDIATELY within the first insert.

Three ops of mine when they're in my home: Mice, gnats, and flies. Occasionally spiders and crickets if they place themselves in the crossfire.

5.0 out of 5 stars VERY pleased

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I was so impressed with this product, I thought I’d make an exception.

These gnat traps have been working very well for me. One of the plants in my office got gnats, and after trying the apple cider vinegar trap (which failed), I decided to buy these traps. They were easy to use and worked instantly. Within a week, the traps have caught hundreds of little gnats.

Small word of warning: these are extremely sticky, so don’t put the sticky part on anything you don’t want to be stuck instantly to the trap. Also, these are made to put in soil, and there’s not an easy way to stand them up on their own. But if you have a plant, these are great!

Counted 79 gnats on two of these stickers. They work. They stay sticky for a few days. Can't kill all of them unfortunately, but they do a lot of damage.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good at catching fungus gnats
Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2025
I ordered these because we were suffering from an outbreak of fungus gnats in our house. They fly around your face and are really annoying. I saw these yellow sticky traps on a houseplants Facebook page and was excited because I hadn't heard of them before. I stuck them in several plants around our house, and they have caught a lot of gnats. The traps haven't caught every gnat by any means, but they have definitely helped a lot. Not every gnat that gets close will get caught, and sometimes the traps stick to my plants or my fingers. I wish the bottom arrows were a little more stiff and less bendy, but these traps are certainly economical and easy to use.
