These had sprouts by 3rd day. Don't use soil. Just water and hydroponic food. Can't wait to see more growth. Tried soil in the bottom but clouded the water. Almost all sprouted. Only started about 16. Only 2 did not sprout.

I love love love these, I wasn’t sure these would work but they are amazing. Just drop them in water and change it every day and you’ll start to see them grow. This plant makes your house look so cool and calming especially if you put them in a clear vase????there pre cut and supposedly different colors but mine have not bloomed yet so we will see.

Lotus Seeds arrived in good condition, placed them in a decorative pot with soil at the bottom and filled the pot with fresh water. Changed the water after 4 days and still waiting for seeds to sprout. Nothing after 2 weeks and counting - fail!!

Item arrived in good condition. 8 seal packs of seeds, each of different colors. It is a super bargain. Instruction are on envelope, very clear. Won't know the quality of seeds until March or April, when artic weather is gone. If good as promise, plan to buy more for next year as gift for friends. Thanks...

Grows slowly but after 3 dozen 2 inch diameter pads unfolded it never produced flowers. The olive like root base floated in the water but used cactus gravel on bottom of oval crystal bowl. It was very crowded and had plenty of sunlight. Some leaves started to curl. Lots of leaves no flowers. Will try a 3rd X and fixate the roots into a sandy like soil later. I thru out the plants after I used some miracle grow crystals onto the water which next day turned the water into a light green foam. I changed the water offer at 1st later 1X a week afterwards. Good Luck!

5.0 out of 5 stars Remember to tip the end of your seeds!

These are going wonderfully the first picture is after five days. The second picture is six days. I did read a few reviews that said that their seeds did not grow. I have to assume because mine are doing so well that they didn’t cut the ends off the seeds. You have to break the seed barrier.

If you want to grow these do some homework and research. And then you’ll have so much fun!
Just wanted to add a picture of how they look like today.

I have had no smell from them whatsoever. I have changed the water once. I am excited to see what they do from here!

It’s been another week, and the two lilies out of the four lilies that started to grow, have come out of the top of the water. I did change to a taller container for them.

Remember, I did start with four lilies two of them didn’t sprout. I do believe it was because I didn’t split the end of the seeds well enough. Because when I took them out, there wasn’t a hole for the water to get into the seed. And they are like nuts, they have to get a big enough hole for the water to get to the seed.

So in this photo number four, they’re getting leaves within the water and leaves coming out into the air.

I hope taking time to do this with you is helping people with their water lilies.

Update- over a week and this is what they look like now! I did decide to keep the floaters instead of throwing them away like YT said in videos. I do change the water every other day because it gets yucky. I’m still using filter water also, I’m very happy with them so far. Hopefully I can update more as they progress. Again watch the videos on how to start your seeds but I highly recommend. Good luck ???? I hope this helps the ones undecided because of the negative reviews on here

Quick shipping, package nice, not instructions on how to start or take care of the seeds so I went on YouTube. Cut the seeds like it said on several videos even though they say the floaters are no good I’m still keeping mine just in case. I have around 50 floating seeds ???? but if the rest blooms I won’t complain and would order again. But still to soon to really know for sure. I would recommend doing research on them before setting them up to learn what you should do. I did cut the tips of mine to allow it to get the water like it said in several videos.
But would give 5 stars for now because of quick shipping and packaging was nice with several colors. Again, I put all mine in a big bowl as you can see so my colors are mixed. I have Tap water but used filtered water for my seeds and this is the second day for mine. One video said to change water everyday and I did today but I probably will not do it everyday because if the seeds were thrown in a pond you wouldn’t be changing the water every day ????????‍♀️ so I guess just use you best judgement as I am ???? Good luck and will try and up date!
