    So I picked up 2 of these for a couple of Wyze outdoor cams (v1) that I am tired of going out and charging. They were on sale, so I figured 2 solar panels for basically 20 bucks, why not? Found a spot to mount them and had to move both once I installed the actual panel, so I could adjust it to the correct angle. The paperwork says to put them at a 30 degree angle, so keep that in mind.

    Ran the cord to my Wyze cameras. A couple of reviewers have mentioned that on Wyze camera's if you use this panel, the "on/off" switch and stuff is normally covered by a silicon plug, but you cant use it with these panels. So make sure your cameras are in a water safe place. Mine are, so it wasnt a big deal for me. If you need it to be water tight, look for another panel like Wasserstein.

    Also of note. The micro USB plug on the panels...it clicks into the wyze camera as it should, but it still sticks out a little. Makes your think the plug isn't in all the way, but if you feel it click in, it's good.

    I plugged them in, and went into my camera settings to tell them that they were attached to solar power. Both are actively charging, and working well. For 20 bucks, I am thrilled so far. Time will tell on longevity, and charging abilities, but for now I am happy!

    Edit: a week in, and all is great. My cameras show they are being charged each day, and have a full charge every time I check.

    I bought two of these and they did the job for the first 10 months. I noticed a few weeks ago one of the cameras they were powering gave a message the battery was low. I’ve since discovered the solar panel, which has no damage to it and is clean would no longer charge the camera.

    Update: customer service was excellent, the panels were covered under a 1 year warranty and I was able to get a replacement.

    (Update) of the two panels I purchased I only used one of them, the other I kept packaged in its box. The panel I was using just stopped working after 14 months. It no longer charges the camera. I switched out the panel with the spare one I had. I’m changing my rating from a 5 stars to 1. Assuming this panel is no longer under warranty because it’s been slightly over a year. When it worked it did great but now it’s just broken and useless.

    I purchased these two solar panels for $44.95. I had previous purchased Arlo’s solar panels from Costco for $79 on discount. I figured the construction quality would be different and I was right. These panels are thinner not as incased in a protective plastic as the expensive Arlo and Eufy panels. But they do the job and they do the job well. I’ve had them for two months now and they keep my cameras powered up 100%. Even in cloudy days I still get a 5 watt charge. Be careful with other inexpensive solar panels that only provide a 4 watt charge. You should buy these. The solar panels do not have a smooth finish like other brands but they work. The panels come with plenty of cable to place the panel at a good distance from the camera where they can receive los of sun. Remember, these solar panels work.

    Added the small solar panel to one of our cameras that was out of the sunlight in the fall before hooking this up ,The camera would barely get 20% of a charge. Now with just the morning Sun it's 100% everyday .Would Highly recommend. The 6-ft cable makes it easy to mount anywhere You need it.

    Make sure to aim them at the sun. They should charge your eufy camera relatively fast. Good, and affordable. I wouldn't pay over 25 dollar for these plastic contraptions. They weigh under a pound, or about 240 grams.

    They have a type c adapter that is hidden below the mini solar panels. 12/21/2024 7:45pm

    Update 1/29, changed from a 1 star to 3 star. The Company reached out to me and issued me a full refund on the solar panel which I thought was very nice of them. Would consider buying from their company again in the future.

    Bought this solar panel for one of my outdoor Wyze cameras, dies a week ago, would no longer charge the battery on the camera. I live in central California so can't even say it was because of cold weather. Spend a few dollars more and buy the Wyze brand solar panel for your outdoor battery cameras.
