    If you did not know, these are much smaller than the normal fire logs. That said, they are perfect size for traveling light and setting up a quick cook fire. I went through the whole six pack over three days, each log lasted between 2.5 to 3 hours on their own. Not a huge bonfire, but perfect for cooking.

    The box arrived really beat up and some of the logs were broken up but still in the package. I burned my first one last weekend to start my fire for hurricane tree debris. It burned easily and was really helpful to get some of the bigger wood burning.

    I was very excited to try these and I was so very disappointed. First, I lit the bag as instructed, they paper quickly burned away without catching the log on fire. I retrieved a fire starter that I routinely use for cooking fires and was able to get the log to burn. It burned about 15 minutes before I put a hot dog on a skewer and placed it near the flame. After about 1 minute I pulled it away from the fire and to my dismay found the entire hotdog coated in black soot that could be wiped away with a paper towel leaving only a slight shadow. Not at all appealing. Also, there is no smell like a real wood smell, more of an car exhaust odor. In no way could I recommend this product.
    We ended up cooking the hotdogs in the air fryer, they were amazing.

    I used to use the 2hr or 4hr logs as fire starters until I discovered these. You twice as many for the nearly the same cost as 2 and 4 hour logs. These work perfectly for a nice cozy indoor fire.

    First you need to use another starter of some type even if you light the paper where it says too. It also smells horrible, but it does burn as long as it says
