    I should have thought harder about the dimensions and not relied on the images when choosing a size. This box is SMALL. It will not hold cushions for 4 chairs, which was my intention. I will probably end up using it for small garden tools or let the kids have it for smaller outdoor toys, chalk, gloves, etc.

    I will say it is sturdy and the lid functions well. It even has an option to pad lock it shut. Just not helpful for inflatables or outdoor furniture cushions.

    LHBGO 31 Gallon Deck Box Review

    This indoor/outdoor storage container from LHBGO is dead-simple to assemble. No tools needed. You just snap it all together. I did so without reading the assembly instructions, and even though I put it together in completely backwards order, I still managed to get the job done in just a few minutes.

    This 31 gallon size holds two sealed 40 pound bags of dog food and would probably hold another 20 pounds of cat food as well, so the size was adequate for my needs.

    And while the box is made of plastic and the lid overlaps the box, the claim of it being waterproof are overblown. None of the side or bottom seams are sealed. In standing water (like a flood) the contents would become totally soaked in minutes. But, sitting on a deck in an average rain, it would probably OK and keep things dry inside.

    For my needs, the best feature would have to be that it looks likely to deter mice from attacking my spare bags of dog and cat food being stored out in my garage, which is a real problem at times. I am not saying it is vermin-proof. Only that it would take Mr. Mouse a very long time to eat through the sides of this box!

    I'm glad I ordered this box!
