    We really enjoy a fire in the backyard however I always hated the worry about it getting out of hand. This fire pit is the perfect solution. Heavy duty stainless steel doesn't warp and keeps fire contained where we want it. It is super easy to clean up with the removable ash tray and very portable so we can take it with us when we go camping and keep our campsite much safer and cleaner too. It draws air from the bottom and is made so the heat is dispersed all the way around so everyone can share in the warmth. Great for the patio, the backyard or the campsite.

    We wanted a portable camp fire we could move around as needed or take camping with us. Something we could grill our own shish kebabs or roast marshmallows over without the need to make an actual permanent fire pit. This was the perfect solution. Totally smokeless and very durable. The fire is fed via the holes at the bottom and once cooled it’s very easy to clean out via the removable ash pan at the bottom. Its very strong and durable and our family highly recommends.

    What I liked: The size and the build quality. At 9 inches, it's not perfect but it's better than a Mesa XL.

    What I didn't like: Everything else.

    Dosent burn hot. It's a calm fire compared to my other firepits. Even the smaller ones burn MUCH hotter, making more heat with a MUCH more intense flame.

    Dosent burn pellets (I tried it anyway though). They do burn but the fire is just meh just like the wood. Not really a rager or anything...

    The bottom gets SUPER HOT! It burned a dark black spot on the surface i had it sitting on. Luckily I had it sitting on a piece of scrap wood paneling. Anything under it WILL get obliterated!

    We used about 1/3 of the wood we normally would on a camping trip with this thing. It is super efficient. And for the most part smokeless.

    I dock 1 star because there was some warping on the tray that sits inside of it after our first use, but the warping had no effect on the function of the fire pit. I'm willing to accept a cosmetic flaw on a product that costs hundred(s) less than the name brand one, and would recommend this product.

    Comes with a nice travel bag and is very easy to clean. We found that it stayed lit and didn’t cause excessive smoke (but that will depend on type of wood you use etc).

    Overall a very well built and designed portable fire pit.
