I initially ordered this so we could have a second umbrella on the patio. Within 5 minutes of opening it, I knew I had to order a second one to replace the one we had no intention of replacing. It's so nice. It's incredibly sturdy. We had some wind yesterday that I never would have considered opening the umbrella up in, but we gave it a try anyway and it was solid. Not a single wobble or hint that it might fall over. My old stand never would have held the umbrella up in that wind. We filled it with water, but I might swap that out for sand before winter. The hole to fill it is a generous size, so you don't even need to take the nozzle off the hose to fill and there would be no difficulty pouring sand inside though a funnel would probably be helpful. The wheels are really convenient. Despite this thing being pretty heavy, you can move it around with ease and lock the wheels when it's in place. The base is large enough to put a small fan on for my dog laying under the umbrella. Assembly was a breeze. Had it put together and filled in under 15 minutes. Worth every penny.

This is the best umbrella stand I have ever owned. Easy to fill with water. Easy to put in the umbrella. Wheels make it very easy to move and the wheel locks then keep it in place. I sat outside in a strong breeze and while the umbrella fabric flapped the base kept everything stable. Would recommend and buy again.

Overall love it it’s exactly how it’s described in the description and pictures. Love that you can fill it with sand or water. It is pretty big and probably won’t fit under a table if you are trying to use it for a larger umbrella. We are using it to cover our patio sofa so it works perfect and best part is that it has wheels! It moves so well and easy to roll around on our trex decking!

This is the second time I've ordered these and have recommended them to family who also purchased them. We are all very satisfied with their sturdiness. I live in the desert where the wind is extreme and these have held up well. On a few occasions, the umbrella tipped but the gusts were out of control and I think I lighter base would have actually caused the umbrella to blow around versus just tipping. I have used both water in one and sand in the other. They are very easy to maneuver around into place and the wheels lock easily. Aside from an elephant sitting and holding your umbrella down, these are the sturdiest I have found out there.

I love this umbrella base so much I purchased it during the summer it is easy to fill and use.
We move them around as the sun moves during the day with ease .
They are very well made and looks stylish around your patio or pool I purchased two and couldn't be happier with their ease of use and how they shade the pool during the afternoon .
Now that it is winter we just rolled them under the patio for use after the first of the year.

That being said We have a few other bases that do not compare at all to the quality or ease of use of this base they have to have their bases weighted down even more then they are from the factory or they fall over the umbrella stand will fill with water when it rains and rust your umbrella and they cannot be moved with ease and they cost a lot more.
