Placing them in the edge of the plant pot easily traps adult gnats, which of course interrupts the lifecycle. The quantity is also excellent because you can throw them out and replace them so you don’t have to deal with seeing them if you have a lot of adult gnats caught. The gnats have a 17 day life cycle and I find this product helpful and there is enough in the package to get the job done.
