    This test kit came with 100 strips and 2 bacteria tests to make sure the water is clean. We used 3 tests to make sure are spring water was clean to drink. The instructions are easy to follow and the strips work great! The kit tests for multiple items and it is easy to read. Great value. The test only takes 2 seconds and you check the colors right after in the first 30 seconds.

    My drinking water is from Lake Michigan that my town purchases, and when the water quality report they have to release by law seemed good I wondered if it was actually true so I bought this and wanted to test it out for myself. When I did the test of the water that comes out of sink that my town provides it came back with something being high and not within normal limits so I thought I did something wrong so I redid it use new water and it came back with something wrong, so I called my town and to!d them about the test and results. They sent someone out and to only find out they use the same test strips that I have purchased. The problem was a water main broke and they never knew about it till I actually tested my own water so I would give this a million stars if I could, it was a good value compared to other products. It was very easy to use, the colors developed right away. I wish I didn't buy the other test strips from other companies because the performance of this product is the best.

    Testing kit is what’s advertised. You get what you pay for in quality it’s not the most in depth test, but it gives you a good general understanding of the water quality in your house. Instructions were clear. They seemed to operate consistently. For the value you get the price is comparable but i wish there was more bacteria testing included.

    I tested my tap water. Results of tests same as information by water supplier.
    I then tested some used wash water as a control. Grey wash water had lots of chlorine.

    Either my water has some lead in it, or the positive coloration of the lead test is influenced by the copper test that’s positioned directly underneath the lead test. It’s almost like the creators of these test strips positioned the copper and lead tests next to each other to obfuscate a positive result for lead contamination.

    I cut the strip to separate these 2 test positions and got a negative lead result.

    How to make this better? I suggest moved lead and copper farther apart, in fact, make all the positions farther apart to prevent cross contamination. And also give the instruction to immediately lay the test strip down flat to prevent cross-contamination. I did not see that in the original instructions.
