The connections are very easy to make, and there was no leakage. I had previously used the small Coleman tanks, and they like to frost up when using the grill on "high" to season it. I had zero frosting issues using the larger tank with this hose and regulator. The hose is long enough that my tank can sit on the ground under the grill table, with some slack.
Update:
I tried this with my Coleman stove, and had less than stellar results. The regulator seems to be too regulated for this use, so you barely get a flame on the Coleman. I still think this is a 5 star item, as I was using it for something it wasn't designed for.
