    Back up batteries for our snow Joe snow blower, came at the end of the season….so will be using this winter when we have a Significant snowfall ….they are all charged up and ready to go !

    My SnowJoe SB18 battery snow blower came with inadequate 4ah batteries. Which made the device inadequate for all but the lightest snow coverage.

    After doing research, it was clear that the included batteries were NOT designed for snow removal. My SB18 needs batteries with significantly MORE AH than the included batteries coud provide. These 7 ah batteries are a near perfect replacement for the branded SnowJoe batteries. They look the same (different color) and are the same size. They make a huge difference in the SB18's ability to remove snow. I could even hear the "beefier" difference in how the snow blower sounds to my ears.
    They also fit in, and work with, the standard SnowJoe double battery charger that came with the SB 18. They're 'bigger' batteries, so I'd say it took 20 to 30% longer to get to full charge. But the improved performance in my snow blower is a fair trade off for this minor inconvenience.

    Don't get me wrong, these batteries will NOT make the blower perform like a professional snow removal machine. It is still a light duty snow blower. But, these batteries will get the device closer to how it should perform as a light duty device.

    Highly recommended.

    Battery only lasted a couple of weeks and no longer charges. I forgot to follow up after Amazon support failed to help and now I'm out of the support window I guess.

    Update: Support reached out personally and replaced the faulty battery. Great support!

    The value was the draw, but too good to be true. I unpacked it and charged the batteries overnight and only one battery made it to a full charge. Three days later, while still on the charger, one battery shows a full charge, and the other is still blinking. The new batteries are supposed to be 7.5 amp, but they are the exact same weight as the original 4 amp Jun Joe batteries that I'm trying to replace. A 4 amp and a 7 amp battery shouldn't weigh the same. I'm requesting a refund.

    Difficult to remove. You must press release buttons well to the front side in order to release. Cheap and poorly made.

    These lasted about 15 minutes in my Snow Joe before smelling like an electrical fire. I brought them inside, but am a little afraid they might start on fire, so I'm keeping a close eye on them. Also not sure if I should try and recharge them? The two Snow Joe branded batteries don't smell, and seem to have quite a bit of charge left in them. Can someone from customer service advise?

    I was nervous at first because it was a lot more inexpensive and not name brand. I didn't need any fear because this was so much better than the Sun Joe battery i got with my lawnmower. This battery lasted more than 3 times longer than the 4amp battery that came with my lawnmower. Went beyond my expectations and for perfectly!
