These are easy to install and work great. The string seems to last quite a while to - which is nice. I like that I don't have to manually wind the spool with string. Just open the trimmer head and pop it in and you're good to go.

These replacement weed whacker spools are GREAT. Our local store didn't stock them.
These have WIRES inside the strings and they CUT weeds & small branches with alacrity.
Will definitely buy again

The hole for the cartridge was just a bit too small to fit my weed eater,If you look on the inside of the cartridge there is room to make it bigger with a drill bit which you have to measure with the original cartridge so the you get the right drill bit to make it bigger so that it will fit my Portland weed eater,but it works.

This item does not fit the spool hole on my brand new green works trimmer. I had to manually unwind it and wind it onto the new cartridge. Amazon really messed up not putting a warning not all green works trimmer cartridges are the same fitting.
