I have bought solid single cast Shepard hooks for the yard from several box stores over the years but none were as impressive as this item! The price was a good value. It shipped quickly and was well packaged.
The pole screwed together easier and at an impressive 92" in height I may have beaten the squirrels that feast on seeds in my bird feeders. The cross/six spike base allowed maximum holding in the ground. The pole is fairly steady with only a small wobble. The large bird feeder I hung was within weight guidance and the hook holds with no problem. Seventeen mile an hour winds didn't affect the pole at all.
I would buy again and recommend to anyone.
