Killed everything it touched during treatment, rose bushes, peonies, ground cover, cypress tree. Followed direction, but did a lot of damage. Will never use again

Pricey but quality product

Scott's items are generally reliable. This one in particular is easy to apply and works as represented. I've had good success with it now for several years. It does a good job of greening up the lawn and ridding it of common weeds. It's not effective on all weeds though and I have to go back with additional treatments to get full control. Recommend it but it doesn't perform up to all its claims.

A ton of progress after just one application

I bought a house that had a terrible back yard… mostly weeds and the grass just wasn’t healthy. After no luck last year with a different product, I tried this one this year. I’ve only done one application but the grass is growing in super green and healthy and the weeds are almost completely gone. I will do one more application after enough time has passed to hopefully get rid of the rest of the weeds but I’m incredibly impressed with the results! I wish I had taken a before picture to show the huge difference.

Grass Resurrection!!!

I killled the grass in one of my clients house because I probably use too much of another product. It got cover in weeds. I waited a bit and applied this, following the instructions on the package. I didnt know what to expect. Came back a some weeks later and the broad leaf weeds were almost completly gone, and the grass came back. I am very surprised. Truly impressed. Most products at the local stores have disappointed me. I have a client who use this brand but just the regular one and it also has good and visible results. This is the one from now on.

Works great but takes some time

I use the weed and feed once a year in early Spring. My lawn initially had hundreds of dandelions. I started using the product five years ago and each year I had less dandelions. This year I only had to pull up about ten. My lawn is also greener and fuller than previous years.

The spray attachment is lousy!

This product does work but you will have to contend with the lousy sprayer attachment. I have used this product for two years and it works great with a noticeable reduction of weed growth. It definitely makes the grass greener and healthier.
I used two bottles on my lawn and while one attachment started out fine and worked for almost the entire application, it ended up spitting all over the place towards the end of the bottle. The 2nd one leaked all over the place no matter how I tried to make the fitting work so I had to contend with this while applying sporadically to my lawn.
I just do not see why companies do this! The bug and weed spray products in the bigger containers do the same thing! You pay a pretty penny for a cheap and compromised applicator!

I previously bought the liquid fertilizer from Spectricide, which slowly took weeks to kill weeds. With one application of Scotts Turfbuilder, the weeds stopped growing, and most died. After a week, I cant see anything but green grass. It's a bit pricey but still less than paying a professional to treat the yard.

My neighbor recommended this item. Like she mentions, I cut the grass in the morning, spread the weed and feed and I haven't seen any dandelions since. I only did it once using a Scott's hand seed spreader. It's been almost a week and still no weeds. Normally I see them growing within 2 days.
