I used this pad for repotting plants in my apartment. My mess slid right off. The product is lightweight and easy to fold and store.

Perfect for occasional potting/repotting of small house plants

I have about a dozen houseplants and before I was taking them outside to repot them. The problem with that is you get bugs from outside when you do that, that you won't notice until they are inside. I was going to buy a large container like a restaurant bus pan but that takes up too much space not to mention they are not cheap. Then I saw this listed and I am glad I did.

This is an absolutely perfect solution for the above problem. First, it does the job. I just got this and wanted to try it out right away. I have an over grown African violet that needs a new pot and so I laid this out on the kitchen table and got the plant, now pot, soil etc and laid everything out on this and it all fit. I had the plant repotted in under 15 minutes. Cleaning took 30 seconds. To clean this I just took it outside after and shook off the dirt. Then I undid the corners and folded it up and under the kitchen sink it went now stored in a zipper lock food storage bag. I am so glad they came up with this wonderful idea. I have a tiny place and I just can't have a lot of large items sitting around that I only use a few times a year.

I highly recommend this for small to medium size house plants. Will look for a larger version for my palm tree.

Sides don’t stay up

I like the fact that I can fold this up and store with my terrarium supplies. When snapped at the corners the sides flop over. I wish they did stand up to contain the debris better. This should corrected.

Where has this been all my gardening life? I would repot flowers/herbs on my patio table, either on a piece of cardboard or old newspapers. I would end up with a big muddy mess, on the table, patio stones, and me.

You can use the mat flat or snap the four corners closed and have it your mess contained.

When you are done, just wipe it or hose it clean. Fold it up and stick with your gardening gloves for next time.

This mat is just the size for potting plants. It provides a nice mat to organize everything and not lose anything. I like how you can snap the corners together to make an edge. It washes off easily when you’re done. I’m sure this will gets lots of use!

"Thickened" but not thick enough

The mat works just like any mat would. Its flexible and appears to be water proof. But its too thin, the buttons on the edges that are supposed to keep the sides upright and slightly rigid to keep debris inside just flop right over, creating....a mat. essentially the buttons are pointless. If you want to use this as an easy to clean mat to toss on a counter and quickly repot a plant it still works just fine, but if you were imagining using it set up as the pictures show, it will not work.

Something I never thought I would need

My wife bought a ton of Plans but does not have the time to maintain them. So I ordered this to help not make a mess and it definitely helps. I having an easy to wash off mat allows me to actually repot the plants while inside the house. I can the. Easily take a it outside and hose it off.

It dries quickly and I can fold it up and put it away.
