This weather works great and is easy to use. I really like the string re-feeds itself. It’s lightweight and the charger lasts for all my needs around my house. I’m very happy with this product

I bought this to replace a light duty Ryobi battery-powered unit and have never looked back. This one has a lot more power, and my favorite part is that it extends to accommodate tall people. I’m 6’1 and had to hunch over uncomfortably to use the Ryobi. Not the case with the Craftsman- it is far more comfortable to use. It is lighter than most gas units I’ve used but is definitely heavier than the Ryobi, so that’s something to keep in mind. The quality and durability have been what I expected from Craftsman. Really my only complaint is that it came with a 2ah battery, which will only last 15-20 minutes if you use the trimmer on high speed. I guess it might be fine if you have a small yard, but you’ll probably need more. Fortunately I have other Craftsman tools and had a few 4ah batteries already, which will get you 35-40 minutes on high speed. All in all I’m very happy with this trimmer.

It's a great, lightweight, and quiet weedeater that functions the way you'd expect. The line feeds itself very well. The only issue I have is how quickly the battery completely drains. I'd rate it 5/5 if the battery held more of a charge and would past longer. Now I'll have to buy another one to swap out with in order to finish my yard every time. (my yard isn't very big at all) Nonetheless, I will recommend buying this weedeater, just be prepared to need another battery unless you only have a small job to do.

Feels like a toy after my heavy gas-powered weed eater, but this thing really gets the job done. Does a nice job of keeping the string the right length automatically. Because of other reviews I ordered a larger battery also. Battery life with the included battery is limited, and it has a long charge time. With the larger battery I get about 45 minutes. Its charge time is very long. Overall, a great product!

I’ve never used or wanted to use an edger.
I actually got this for my husband but I love using it.
I was able to easily and nicely edge up everything. I feel like this gives you more ability make crisper edges.
I have no clue how we survived without this. Makes such a difference and adds the little extra finishing touch to the yard.
Well made and durable.
Easy to use and maneuver
Love that it’s battery powered but still has plenty of power.
Great size and lightweight.

I like this trimmer alot. The adjustments are easy to use. The autofeed is fantastic to allows have string feed to never have to stop to manage it. The battery life does not complete the entire yard, so I bought 2 additional baterries on Amazon at 60% off. I also bought a few extra string covers since the old trimmer seemed to need a new one every year and they stopped making the part.

I bought this tool to simply write a review. Anyone interested in buying this specific model will be VERY disappointed. The battery is simply inferior. The proprietary (non adaptable charger) is even worse. The battery is a 2AMP hour. The charging unit is a measly 400MAH. It took over 5 hours to charge the battery the first time after unpacking. It had about a 7 percent charge. I used the unit after fully charging the battery. For my review, I set the motor on low and held the power on and started trimming tall regular grass and very light weeds. The battery lasted 14 minutes. I was barely able to cut about 400 lineal feet of weeds. I stopped the unit. It had only about 28 percent of battery life left after this short time.
I put the battery back into charging unit. It took another 4 hours 12 minutes to fully charge again.
End result. 9 hours of charging to use the unit 14 minutes. I suggest anyone have less than 200 lineal feet of weeds to trim BEFORE they even think about buying such a low end unit. Craftsman corporation , or its parent company will also be getting a scathing personal letter regarding this.
I opened this unit on 5/16/24. its 5/17/24.
I went out today and bought a used( one hour used) Stihl weed wacker gasoline unit for 200 dollars. That owner complained his unit was too HEAVY????? I suggest any consumer buy a Milwaukee or any other brand of battery powered tool than a Craftsman branded item. Yes this tool is low cost. I suggest unless you have a lot about 30 by 50 feet, simply BUY a much better product than a Craftsman. Best luck. A word to the wise be SUFFICIENT! My cell phone charger produces 700MAH. Basically 46 percent more than this charging unit. Enjoy!
