I love this chair. Unlike what others have said, I don't have any problem with it folding up on me when I try to adjust it, and it seems durable.

Others have also mentioned that the material dryrots. Since the material is the standard canvas for a cot, I assume if I left it out in the weather, it's only logical that it would dryrot. Since it's easy to move around, I fold it up and bring it in with me when I'm done using it.

I particularly love the face-down, massage table-style hole for my face and the added cut-outs that allow me to tuck my arms in so I can easily turn the pages on my Kindle when I'm sunning on my belly, too. I'm buying a second one for my sister. If you're looking for something like a permanent deck chaise that you leave outside all the time, this might not be for you, but if you want a portable, comfortable chaise for sunning, especially on your stomach, then this is well worth your money! The umbrella is nice too. I bought it separately but will buy the pair this time around.

It's just arrived (quickly), seems sturdy, is easy to open and set up. I love the head pillow and the functional face opening for lying flat on your stomach and being able to read or whatever. The fabric seems durable, and the color (in my case, reddish-pink) is vibrant. I also like the shoulder strap. It seems light enough to carry easily. To add, I haven't made a lot of use of it yet, so can't say much more but I'm very pleased so far!

Went on a trip recently. Part of the family bought the backpack beach chairs, while some of us used these lounge chairs. It was nice being on the beach and being able to knock off some of the sand from my feet and have them reclined a bit. For roughly the same price as the chairs, I'm happy with my purchase. They were probably more comfortable in transit because of the straps, but the tradeoff down at the beach was worth it to me. If you're walking a long distance holding multiple things, you maybe better off with the backpack chairs.

Pros:
Comfort - (7/10) decently comfortable for a portable chair. Keep in mind if you test this out on a hard surface before you go to a beach that the sand will have more give when you're sitting there. Nothing spectacular, but for what it was, it did a good job.
Price - for beach chairs around this same price, I would go with these again.
Quality of chair and fabric - (7/10) I don't know if others have had issues with quality control, but the fabric and seams seemed like they would last a decently long time.

Cons:
Strap - (3/10) the clips on the straps and the metal loops on the chair were not heavy duty. I can see something breaking there fairly quickly. It may be wise to figure out a way to reinforce or change out both pieces. Also, the strap is uncomfortable. There is not a padded part, so if you were burnt at all from the beach and this is rubbing up on the burn, it will not feel great. The straps are functional but not much more. I'm considering buying a padded strap for this prior to another trip.

Notes about using the chair:
1) First thing I would do when unfolding is to open the legs and make sure they are each pushed past a 90 degree angle. If this is not done, it may shut close randomly while you're sitting.
2) Then I would fold out the back rest and leg rest all the way to where it lays completely flat. At this point, you can begin to adjust the angle of the back rest. If you go too far up and want it to be more reclined, you will have to completely fold the back rest up before you can reset it to a completely flat/reclined position and begin to adjust the angle again.

This chair is awesome!! Perfect for tanning on the beach, by the pool or back yard. I love the cutout for your face so that you can watch your favorite show or read your favorite book. The straps could be better if there were 2.

So disappointed in this chair. I bought this about a month ago to use this summer at the beach, but each time for weeks it rained every time I went to go to the beach. When I finally got a chance to go today, I brought this chair that I was super excited to use for weeks. I was so excited to lay out and use the face hole and adjust the settings to sit up, lay down, etc. it was awful. It immediately broke. I tried to set it up and the legs kept collapsing and wouldn’t stay up for some weird reason, despite following instructions for setup. Then I finally got them to “click” and stay solid, but when I laid down, the foot rest flew upwards and would not go back down. When I tried to gently push it down to adjust it back, the metal piece and bolt on the side completely snapped and broke at the side of the foot rest area. No matter how much I tried to fix it it wouldn’t work. The metal piece came out and the bolt would not stay in. Then it just began to fall apart and wouldn’t stay upright. Terrible terrible terrible. I don’t know if I received a defective unit or what. Was so excited to use this at the beach and it ended up taking up a ton of my relaxing time trying to get the stupid thing to work, and it broke immediately upon first use. Went to return or exchange, and it was out of my return window by a few days. Luckily Amazon refunded me due to the situation. But seriously this was a very big pain. Total piece of crap, waste of money. You can just feel that it’s cheap and falls apart quickly. And it’s quite expensive for that to happen. Not happy.

Love this chair! Total game changer at beach. I can read laying on my stomach now or looking at my phone because of the cutout. And the built in pillow is great. A carrying strap makes it perfect!
