I love this tool. It is sharp, lightweight, efficient and fun. The charge life is long, in fact ,it didn't lose the charge all day. All SunJoe products I've purchased have exceeded my expectations. This is a must have for anyone who works in the yard.

I have used this tool for years now. It is one of those tools that you just grab and use and don't think about. But when you do stop to think about it, you realize how many things it does very well. It has excellent battery life. I can use it in the yard all day and I always give out before the battery on this unit does. It is lightweight and easy to handle, it is maneuverable and fits into small spaces, It cuts extremely well while at the same time not getting phased if you happen to hit something to big or hard for it to cut. It actually cuts through my hedge easier than a dedicated compact hedge trimmer I bought but stopped using because it just wasn't as effective as this shear tool. This is one of the few products I give five stars across-the-board. Get it and you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended! BTW this review is for the grass shear tool only. Now a package deal with a trimmer is offered. I have not tested their trimmer and the trimmer I referred to in this review was a different brand.

It does a nice job of dealing with hard to reach spots and where the string trimmer should never go. Battery life is adequate but could probably be better. Would I buy it again … yes, I would. It does a nice job with trimming and can even be used to shape up the bushes with the attachment that comes with the Sun Joe trimmer.

This clipper is practical and versatile. Great battery life. Watch your fingers.
I have yet to buy a Sun Joe or Snow Joe tool that's not worth twice what I paid for it.

This is such a time saver! It is far better than using a weedwacker as it is more maneuverable and precise for edges of the lawn without cutting other plants . I wish I had found this years ago It is an essential tool for any gardener !

It works ok for very small branches on bushes but there is no way to lock it on so it hurts your hand after a short time of using it.
