As I’m sure everyone already knows, the summer heat here in California is often times unbearable. I was wanting something to cool off with, so I did some research on Amazon. I love how easy and convenient rechargeable fans are, but I also didn’t want to have to worry about keeping it charged. That’s why this one caught my attention, all you have to do is pop in 2 AA batteries and you’re good to go for a pretty long time. I also loved the fact that it has a mister. All that being said, I didn’t expect a whole lot, but I figured that since it was very reasonably priced, I’d give it a try anyways. I’m very impressed by the power this little fan has, and the mist takes it to the next level! It truly is very effective at cooling you off. I also love that the blades of the fan are soft, so you’re not going to hurt yourself if it hits you. You can also add ice to the water to cool you off even more. My only complaint is that, as other reviewers have mentioned, the battery cover does not stay closed. I have had the batteries fall out, so I might have to tape it closed. All in all, this fan may seem small, but it’s got power and it gets the job done for sure! Highly recommend that you try it out.

I wanted to leave this a 5 star rating because I love this little fan. It puts out just enough air to disperse the water the way you need it but isn't going to function as a fan fan if that's what you're looking for. Battery lid is not very strong & causes battery to fall out, I tapped mine shut just to keep it in place. Really disappointing i had to do that but i love the fan so i'm gonna continue to use it.

This uses 2 batteries to run the fan, which has 1 wind speed setting, then has a manual pump for the mister. The unit performed well and was more effective than a different unit we bought for the same event.

While another unit we bought had 3 speed settings and the mister was automatic (not manual pump), the other unit struggled to maintain the higher wind speed and the mister was too fine to be effective. So for this unit, while a simpler design with more basic features, overall we found it performed better as it was more consistent/reliable and ultimately more effective in keeping us cool.
