Hyuse shade cloths in replacement for shade sales. For the years I have found that in a Florida climate the shake loss are 100 times better than a canvas shade sail. They don’t they don’t hold water, they hold up really well to wind and rain as long as you keep them taught. Yes they do rip after a while and get small holes in them but you can pretty easily so those together with fishing line or anything else you got laying around. I’ve purchased from this company before just make sure you always get the shade sails that have the extra stitching on the edges make sure you keep it nice and tight and use a bungee style rope In each eye hole

The good- there are quite a few grommets on each side to attach to, 6 on the 14' side, and 9 on the 20'. The construction and overall build seems to be good (it's only been up for a few days). I'll see how it handles the hour texas weather over the summer.
The bad- its replacing a 40% shade 20x20 that was too large for the area, 15' or 16' feet would have been ideal, but 14 works, anyway, when comparing the 40% of the old one next to it hanging up, and this 50% one, I cannot tell the difference between the two. The threads per inch are essentially the same, visually they are the same, but hopefully fitting the summer it will be a degree or 2 cooler then it was last year.

The grommet was made of very thin aluminum and put together extremely poorly ! Was broken right out of the bag, looks like it was smashed and stuffed into the packaging. Very cheaply made ! Also, no indication of exactly what % shade it provides. I know what I ordered, but it would be nice if the product reflected that. I purchased one of these several years ago and it was great. Sad to see the quality has gotten so bad now !

It has survived every wind, rain, snow and ice storm. The only mistake was mine. It was coated in heavy ice and I was worried about it. I went underneath it and started trying to break the ice and lighten the load. In the end I realized that if I would have just left it alone everything would have been fine. The process of trying to break the ice caused it to rip in 1 little area, thats when I stopped and waited till it all melted off. Take it from experience, if you don't take it down before the ice develops, just leave it be, it's pretty tough and well made.
