The vacuum came in convenient packing. It was easily assembled with few things to do for preparation. Quick charge time. I was amazed at how much debris the vacuum collected from the bottom of the pool upon first use. It was easy to retrieve with the provided hook and easy to empty. This has exceeded my expectations, and it was a great value for the price without cutting down on quality. Highly recommend!

This pool cleaner is really small and looks like a UFO :). It comes fully assembled and all you need to do is to attach the top handle. Although it required some adjustments to the top cover to ensure proper functioning. The charging port is located at the bottom, and you need to turn it over to access the port. Be careful when you turn it upside down and put it on the ground as you can damage the exhaust cover on the top! Charging the device takes a considerable amount of time, approximately 4 hours, which was a bit longer than expected. One full charge provides about 60 minutes of cleaning time, which is adequate for smaller pools. I really like the cordless design that eliminates the hassle of tangled hoses. Its suction power is sufficient for picking up common debris like dirt and small leaves, though it can struggle with larger debris, which may cause jams. The device features a motion sensor for energy efficiency, and the transparent body allows you to easily monitor collected debris level. The smart navigation technology actually works, as it automatically reverses when coming close to walls or obstacles and parks the robot closer to the pool sides when the battery is low for easier retrieval. However, during the first cleaning attempts, this pool cleaner had some difficulty navigating and required manual intervention to move away from pool walls. On subsequent uses, it performed better. Once the robotic cleaner has done its job (or when the battery is depleted) it automatically parks close to a pool wall, and you can use a hook, which is included, to retrieve it from water. Opening it and cleaning the filters is super easy - just unlock four snap locks around its body and pull up the top half. Then empty all collected debris and wash off the filter. It's a super nice pool cleaner, I really like it!

Bottom line:
Well, I surely recommend this WINNY Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner for its cordless operation, transparent design and good suction. It works well for smaller pools with a flat bottom or minimal (<15 degrees) slope. Affordable, effective for small debris, easy to set up and use, portable, with no remote needed. However, it has limited battery life, long charging time, struggles with large debris, and occasionally demonstrates navigation issues. It gets 4 stars from me.

Pros:
1. Cordless design, no more tangled hoses.
2. Small, lightweight, and portable.
3. One-click activation and automatic cleaning.
6. Effective cleaning of small debris.
4. Transparent design for easy cleaning monitoring.
7. Smart navigation technology avoids obstacles.
8. Automatically parks near the wall when battery is low.
9. Suitable for all pool types and shapes.
10. Comprehensive instructions are included.

Cons:
1. Required 4 hours to fully charge.
2. Limited battery life, 60 min only.
3. Struggles with large debris.
4. Only for smaller pools with <15 slope.

I've been really wanting a robot pool cleaner and this is my first one. I was super excited to get it - no more pool vacuuming, right! Well, not exactly...
The unit came nicely packaged and was a breeze to put together. It seems well made for an all plastic device, but the finish was nice and the snaps/wheels are work smoothly. So, looks wise, it's great. I went to charge it for the first time and the small rubber plug that goes into the charging port is very rubbery and doesn't like to come out. Not too bad, but not easy. The charger is a special one for the unit and has the LED on the charger itself for charge indication, there is no indicator on the unit. It charged fine without issues.
Turning it on for the first time was a learning experience. When you push the large orangish-red button, you can feel it click on, but nothing happens. The instructions say "turn on the device and put it in the pool within 12 seconds". But nothing happened when I pushed the button. So I pushed off/on/off and nothing happened (remember, I did not have it in the water). So now I wasn't sure what state it was in because there are no LED's or any feedback to know what stat the unit is in. If I would have waited longer and paid attention, the unit does beep to say it's on and not in the water, but its a VERY faint beep (as the beeper is inside the sealed unit). Once I figured this out and waited; the unit started beeping and then turns off - so now I know the state it's in. I can now push the button and put the unit in the water. (When I do this now, I push the on button, place the unit underwater while holding onto the unit making sure the motor starts up, then drop it down onto the bottom of the pool). Once I now have it running and know what to expect, this is really not a problem, but there's the learning curve!. When the robot is in the water, it scoots around the pool until it bumps into a wall. Then, the motor reverses and it goes the other direction. It doesn't move in straight lines, more of an arc. So, it randomly moves around the pool. I've consistently gotten run times between 60-90 minutes (but I haven't sat and timed it - just by checking every so often). What it does, it does well. It does pick up medium leaves and debris as it should. It does also pick up larger grains of sand. What I wanted it to do was pick up dead algae or pollen (a few big oaks in my yard) and it won't pick that up. It will, however, stir the smaller algae/pollen into the water so the filter can eventually get it out. If I had vacuumed this manually with the hose, it would have gotten it out first try. Using the pool robot, it takes 2-3 runs of the robot with a filter backwash in between. So, it does work, with a little extra effort and time than I expected. Then, coverage is not 100%. My pool is 12x24 and has a flat bottom. I do not think this would do well on a pool if it has a steep angle on the bottom. But coverage is OK. There are missed spots at the end of the pool I need to go back and hit manually - but not bad and of course, it varies every time I use it. The unit does go to the side and park, again always in a random spot, but it's not hard to pull out with the included hook that goes on the end of your pool pole. Once the unit comes to the top of the water, it is slightly heavy as its filled with water. I think most people will have no issues pulling it out, just think of a bucket this size and how much it would weigh filled with water.
My final thoughts. Am I excited I now have a pool robot - yes! Does it do exactly what I expected - no, but my expectations were too high. This is not a pool vacuum -its a cleaning robot for the bottom of the pool. Would I buy it again for $1xx dollars - probably. I would like to see the charging/feedback on the unit get better. I would suggest LEDs in the unit to show status ( I get it, the unit has to be sealed, so that's not easy). I also hate the fact I now have another charger to keep track of (where is the USB-C connector!). It does work as it should, does a decent job, and makes pool cleaning easier. Overall, I do think it's worth the money.
